    Home made tooth filling substance?

A very large back tooth filling  just fell out and my dentist cant see me until more than a week. Any home made substances I can put in there to stop the tooth self destructing..... as there's only some very thin walls of the tooth left... fortunately the nerve was removed so at least it doesn't hurt.

    Dental receptionist on drugs? ?

I cant even schedule an appointment . Ive shown up twice and she "forgot" to schedule me. What? Last visit i saw the dumb hag wondering around the clinic like shes in a drugged up haze.  Smiling and giggling by herself. Suddenly, She wondered into my room while the dentist is preparing her tools.

When the dentist left the room, the receptionist suddenly  smiles and decides to take off her mask . She put her nasty hands on my face! Then she tells me to smile! I tried pulling away but she took a firm grip of my chin. I then told her stop!!! And she took her hands off.

The doctor came in and asked if everything was okay because in yelled. I just nodded my head and the receptionist walked out still smiling and giggling. My blood pressure was so high before my procedure i was shaking. I felt angry and violated. After the procedure i filed a complaint against her but i doubt anything will be done.I honestly dunno what to do. I like my dentist but i think the front desk lady is a hard tweaker.  Go to another dentist? Can i tell the police and get her drug tested and thrown out?

My ten year olds new teeth are severely yellow ?

    Favourite answer:

Google search how to whiten yellowed teeth and then keep trying every reasonable treatment suggested until you find one that works.  Be careful not to do any really extreme treatment that might be harmful.

In some cases, nothing is going to help and the color seems permanent.  If that happens, then the last choice would need to wait until your son is older.  (which may be why the dentist isn't offering much help right now - they want to offer you the expensive fix when your son is the right age for it.)

When nothing works, then either dental veneers or crowns are the option to fix the appearance of the teeth.  This option usually isn't done until after the age of 16 - especially if there is some chance that the child will need braces in their early teens.

BTW - sorry to tell you this - but I am 55 years old and have never found a way to fix my yellow issues on my two front teeth.  The rest seem fine - but my two front teeth can be embarrassing at times.  I once considered veneers but couldn't afford it at the time and now it just feels "too late".  After all, I have made it through most of my life now - why spend the money at this point.

I am terrified of the dentist and thinking of skipping my appt?

i have been having some dental issues, but the problem is, i am absolutely TERRIFIED of the dentist. The numb feeling from the shot makes me feel like i cannot breath, and i am also paranoid when they pull my back tooth, that i will die from some sort of infection or have a heart attack, or that they will find out i have mouth cancer. I am so terrified, i do not think i can go to my appointment on tuesday and will just not show up, but at the same time, i need to.

Can this happen at the dentist?

At the dentist if you feel very dizzy or too tried after it will the dentist or hygienist carry you to the waiting room? Has it happened before?

He’s very insecure about it and doctors are telling me they can’t whiten his teeth because he’s only 10. Do I have any other options. I’m really upset and want his teeth white. These are his permanent teeth.

What’s the easiest way to make dentures?

I lost all my teeth recently and am ready for dentures.  I don’t want to go to a dentist because they’re money grubbing pricks.  How can I make my own at home? I’ve heard of people doing it before.

how do I tell my dentist I can't see him anymore?

    Favourite answer:

Ask the receptionist for information on transferring your records as you are leaving the area.

They will probably be able to forward details to your new dentist once you find one.

Sometimes there is a small fee for this service.

What is the reason for flouride in the toothpaste?

    Favourite answer:

The reason for adding flouride in toothpaste is that it helps to prevent tooth decay by slowing the breakdown of enamel and increasing the rate of the remineralization process.

Is it really possible to brush your teeth in just two minutes?

It takes about 5-10 minutes for me to brush all my teeth in detail. I do not get how people could brush all their teeth in just two minutes. I was brushing my teeth for about 2 minutes before, and had dental issues, but my oral heelth is much, much better right now. So, I do not get this all 2 minutes thing.
