Travel during Covid? ?
I was planning to travel to Chile this December to see a solar eclipse and do some photography throughout the region. It was the trip of a lifetime that I had been planning for about a year and a half. I purchased my trip back in February and naturally I was trying to be optimistic that Covid would be over by then, or at least we’d have a vaccine. Fast forward to today, cases are rising almost everywhere it seems, but the borders to Chile opened anyways and the trip is still on. I actually canceled my trip today because I didn’t want to risk getting my family or friends sick, also I didn’t want to risk missing Christmas time with everyone I love, as I’d have to be quarantined alone for 2 weeks after I come home (missing Christmas and New Years). Though
I feel extremely sad that I canceled my trip, I am having second thoughts as it was the trip of a lifetime. I just need assurance that I did the right thing or perhaps that I made the wrong choice and should have gone anyways. Let me know what you think.

Why are Latin Americans more resentful of being hit than being knifed or shot at?
In the 1920s, James Maitland, a British expert on Latin America, made the following statement on local customs: "There is one thing you must never do to a Latin American, unless you know him extremely well. Never pull his leg. He doesn't understand it: he takes it as an insult. There's another thing too. You stick a knife into one—or shoot him up—and he'll understand it. You hit him with your fist on the jaw and he'll never forgive you." Why is it so?

Why do people not travel to Peru?
Peru is a beautiful country with amazing culture and food. So many things to do and honestly it’s become my favorite place to travel too. Last summer I went to Peru for the first time and I’ll be honest I was hesitant, but when I arrived in Lima I fell in love with the city. I had so much fun there and later into my vacation I traveled to Pucallpa, a small city that I’ll admit is the heart of the culture. People lived freely, without dictation of income or living standards. It was beautiful! In pucallpa I visited a tribal village where I got to hold a sloth and parrot which was fun. When I came home I told my friends about my adventure but they didn’t even know where Peru was. Why do people not know about such a wondrous nation?

Atheists, why is the Yanomami tribe considered the most violent people on earth? They do not have Christianity there? Hmm.?
The Yanomamis are an ethnic group composed of 20,000 to 30,000 indigenous people who live in the rainforest. The live pretty much shut off from the rest of the world
--The Yanomami have a haughty and warlike character,[4] and when they kill they acquire the social status of unokai. The more warlike ones, who manage to kill more enemies, have greater prestige and more women.
--Mothers either welcome her newborn or kills the baby by burying them alive. Infanticide is practiced to eliminate children born with defects, or as a form of sex selection
--One of the most primitive customs of this ethnic group is the practice of ritual cannibalism: in a collective and sacred ritual funeral, they incinerate the corpse of a dead relative and eat the ashes of their bones, mixing them with “pijiguao” paste

I was born in costa rica but dont have Costa rican passport?
Favourite answer:You might be entitled to become a dual Colombian citizen due your mother being a citizen. There is information on the link how to apply for a passport.
https://www.justlanded.com/english/Colombia/Colomb...
You could also get a Costa Rican passport due to being born there.
https://www.dualcitizenship.com/countries/costa-ri...
I doubt you could get both passports if you also have an American one. It might be worth finding out which one is more useful to you.
As an example, I could get an Irish passport due to descent. If the UK does go through Brexit, an Irish passport may enable me to travel and work in Europe if I wish, whereas my UK passport may not.

What are some places to visit in Cali?
Love rock music, motorcycles, cars, films(horror mostly), books, art, superheroes and James Dean, and my Mom also wants to check out Disneyland. We're from the Jersey/NYC area so we're not too familiar with Cali.
