Which nations currently require Americans to show proof of vaccination upon entry and which vaccination?

    Favourite answer:

Many African, South American, and Caribbean countries require vaccines for entry, most often malaria and yellow fever vaccines.  Other vaccines may also be required in some countries.  Meningitis vaccines are sometimes required, and hepatitis are often highly recommended.

When out alone, what time do you try and get back home ?

If you go somewhere in the evening by yourself, what time do you try and get home considering things like safety and travel time as a lone traveller?

I usually try and get back for 9- 9 30, and will leave a place at 8-9pm as I feel unsafe after 9pm.

European vacation for an English only speaker?

    Favourite answer:

I have traveled in Europe.  I learned a few key phrases in each of the languages of the countries I visited - "Do you speak English?" was particularly helpful, but I also learned how to ask for basic directions and for things like the restroom.  Even if learning languages is hard for you, it shouldn't be hard to learn a few phrases.  You can also use Google Translate or other translation apps on your phone.

However, many people in Europe do speak English, at least well enough to engage in basic communication.  The major tourist attractions and transportation hubs have signs in English.  You can pick up a guide to the Louvre that it is in English; you can also get a headset for a self-guided tour of the museum in English.  As I recall, there isn't really anything to read by the pieces of art themselves in the Louvre.

    Traveling ?

OKAY, so this sort of has something to do with travel, mostly after traveling, I really want to enjoy my early twenties (I'm 17 atm) and I REALLY want to buy a van and live in it and just enjoy myself and go wherever I want, however, would it be possible to have a "normal" life afterwards? Eventually I want a house, but will I be completely broke from just traveling?

what do shipping routes between the UK and USA look like?

I admit I'm kind of a nerd when it comes to domestic shipping routes in the USA, when I order a package I like trying to guess what hubs it will go through and testing which routes would be more effective. I recently purchased a package From the UK and they failed to provide me with the tracking info on top of that the package is scheduled to arrive in roughly two weeks. is this a normal amount of time for the distance, and because of the length of time would it be safe to assume my package is currently on a cargo ship? if you have any info on how different packages are shipped between the USA and UK that would be greatly appreciated any information would be nice this is just something I was curious about and wanted to learn more.

Are there any states that do not have covid restrictions?

    Favourite answer:

Yes, Alaska has removed restrictions and replaced them with advisories. Some other states have cut them significantly and Texas has left it up to businesses . Many states plan to further relax restrictions in April.

Will getting a passport be worth it?

    Favourite answer:

I was born overseas and have funky birth certificates.  I've had a passport since I was very young, and because of those funky birth certificates, I NEVER let it expire.  I travel more than most people, so it's necessary for me.  That said, I think there's something very romantic about having a passport.  It's like a ticket to the world. Maybe you don't plan on flying to France next week, but if you have a passport, you could.

You should also find out if your state is a "real ID" state.  Mine isn't, so I use my passport, even when I'm flying domestically.

Do they sell these foods to eat in Iceland ?

    Favourite answer:

They sell most of them in the freezer section of the Iceland supermarket... but the potatoes won't come with cheese or butter, you'd need to add this yourself. Likewise the burgers come as patties only; you have to buy the buns and cheese separately.

If you mean Iceland the country; yes, fast food is available.

Why have I never been stopped by the TSA for carrying on a lighter? ?

I’m a smoker, and have flown many, many times since I started and every single time I have had a lighter in my pocket and sent it down with my stuff. I thought they are prohibited and are on the big board telling you what you can’t bring on.

If that’s true, then how have I boarded every single flight with a lighter in my pocket (not in checked baggage although I always have another one in my suitcase), sent down the X-ray, go through the metal detector, and collect it after. Why is this allows? Is it certain circumstances? Do they make an exception when seeing my pack with the lighter?

    Is Europe an overrated continent?

100 percent white (any poc will get set upon, not kidding).100x more racist and conservative than any US state. You need to be rich to travel there, let alone live there. Alcohol brands suck. No wilderness, just cities. Women must be emaciated supermodels to fit in. Soccer is the main sport. No good food. Music is more or less techno and crappy dance music.

Plus everybody just goes there to look at buildings and museums. BOR-ING!

North America and Australia are underrated. Asia and Africa while also underrated, are off limits until after Covid (they're the last places to get vaccinated).

Do hotel soap bars kill germs?

    Favourite answer:

Yes, of course they do. All soaps kill germs. That's the purpose of soap. Before the pandemic, many experts recommended just washing hands with soap, not using hand sanitizers. Soap is sufficient by itself. The point of hand sanitizers is that you can carry them around and use them even when you don't have water available.
