  • Gentle urban exploration for artists.?

hi, I am really interested in urban exploration and a lot of the ideas behind it. But more in a 'gentle' sense. i don't want to go exploring abandoned buildings in the extreme way ubex does but more the everyday city. I want to do it from an artists perspective. so maybe exploring, drawing to record that sort of stuff. An art project mixed with urban exploration

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on this or other ways to make life an exciting 'game'. like guerrilla art or something

I don't really know if this question will make sense to people. but I'm mainly looking for advice for beginner urban exploration and a way to make a personal art project from it? any resources.? i love the Keri Smith books, Finish this Book and other titles that encourage this kind of mystery in the everyday living.

  • Can someone recommend an english dubbed anime?

Hi, I'm looking for an English dubbed anime (I like to be able to draw while i watch/listen)

I love anime like Naruto, bleach, (not so big on one piece) Soul Easter was freakin awesome. I loved it. Didn't really get into Fairy Tale, I'm not sure why. I'm looking for anime with fantasy and action. The more magic and bad *** fight scenes the better. I really really enjoyed Excel world and Sword Art Online and the .hack series aswell. I also like game based anime, like yugioh, or again sword art like virtual world kinda stuff. I tried digimon but after 5 episodes just wasn't feeling it, maybe i should try again? I also watched Magi too, just so you don't throw that one out there too.

So any recommendations? Thanks a bunch.

  • Should I get my Real Estate license ?

Hi so I recently (6months ago) started working for an agent as his assistant. I had just finished study as a graphic designer and a lot of this in the assistant role here worked well for me. Though it wasn't really creative design I still got to do advertising, newsletters and branding, which I really enjoy.

So my boss is really great and he really likes my work as his P.A, I do a great job and feel good about it but lately my boss has started to make it clear that he wants me to sit my Real Estate License so i can start doing more agent related things. I have expressed that I'm really not sure as it's not what I signed up for and not really a direction I am that keen to head in but he is adamant that i would be good at it and says that there are many areas in which real estate can lead. I am positive and work well with all kinds of people but I don't enjoy salesman type work, prospecting or trying to sell thing in general, well unless its via branding or well thought out advertising campaigns lol.

Anyway just wondering if I'm being a chicken and weather or not i should just do it, see what happens try it out and if not o well,(even though it cost about a thousand dollars here to do which is not cheap) but I also know from working here that it is not a job for the fainthearted, takes endless handwork and dedication and not something that should be lightly taken on.

Can anyone offer any advice? Also what other area's are within real estate that I could work towards other than being an agent?

    Thanks

  • good fantasy/adventure anime english dub?

wondering if anyone could recommend some really good English dubbed anime for me.

Im looking for something with magic content, adventure, good combat/fight scenes also something that is fun and not too dark.

Animes I have enjoyed like this are Bleach, Naruto, Inuyasha, Fate/Zero, YuGoOh, FMA etc

I do love subbed anime an enjoy its authenticity, and most anime i have watched have been subbebd, it's just that I want to be able to draw while i watch these and it makes it hard to follow if I cant understand them.

I am about to start hunter X Hunter, so no point recommending that one.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

iv just come back from being overseas and have moved back inwith my folks. i have always respected my parents and there outlook on life. i also understand that i shouldnt nessicerialy agree with all things my parents stand for, but it seems i see them now as narrow minded, slow witted, and just not that smart. not to say i am.

they seem to always state the obvious, and seems they cant see past what they already believe, will this happen to me and is it normal?

  • ok let me know what you think about this poem, like it or not?

A cool blue ocean, a crimson dawn or a blessing from above,

I would sacrifice it all to let you know m y love

A passion flower in the spring, and a brightly burning star,

When I look past it all, standing, there you are.

More than just a hope, so much greater than a dream,

You give me courage that I lack, and undoubted self esteem.

Have you seen a rainbow on a snow tipped peak?

You are so much more graceful and so greatly more unique.

The gentlest of creatures, in a forest capped with green,

But still you are, by far, the greatest IV ever seen!

And if all the beauty’s in the world were to slowly disappear,

No sadness and no loneliness would I feel, if you I could have near.

You give me strength, you give me hope, my heart you keep burning bright,

I long for your calming touch, to get me through the night.

Would you take my hand if all this I could give?

I pry you would, for without you I could not live.

  • what do ya think of my poem?

    A decolete winter,

    and the usual primative storm.

    not wanting love or money,

    only wanting to be warm.

    try to preserve your strength,

dont fight, just let it be.

try to keep your eyes open,

but not so you can see.

    listen to the rain

as it poors into the room

    take comfort from it

and hold it untill your doom.

    things arnt always easy

    and important things are hard

    all good things take time,

    even before they start.
