  • How do I handle this situation?

We rented a home last year with a 12 month lease, we gave a deposit of $1000. The owner of the home we have never spoken to, simply someone acting as landlord on the owners behalf, we have since bought a house ( DID NOT break our lease) We have cleaned the old house, it's in better condition now than when we moved in. The house was ready for inspection on 1/31/2009, no one came out to look at the property and get the keys until 2/22/2009, we were told our check would be in the mail, this is a month later with nothing... What can we do? I have contacted our 'landlord' and she isn't giving me any answers. Are we out our $1000? If we are can we take legal action?

  • About losing weight....... ?

I am 5'4" about 125, kind of busty, and a size 2 (Petite) on paper all that sounds OK. But the way I look is NOT the way I want to. Does anyone have any ideas for getting rid of belly fat? target toning that area? Great core exercises? I am open to ideas! Thanks in advance for your help

What I have been trying to do is the eat the bulk of my calories early in the day so I am not loading up anywhere near bedtime, and I drink WAY too much soda, so I have been trying to drink more water. I am just at a loss! I also have two small children so hours at the gym are NOT possible!

  • How do I get a patent?

Ok, so here's the deal. Without going into too much detail. My current birth control is GREAT minus one little issue, and the other women I have spoken to all have the same complaint. My husband came up with a brilliant idea which solves this problem, its pain free, and doesn't effect the effectiveness of the birth control, so my question is. How do you go about getting a patent for such an item? Can we even do it?

  • Are there any legitimate work from hom opportunities out there?

I did Mary Kay but that is FAR from " work from home" I am hoping for something I can do online, or from home on the phone, to generate a little extra income.
