This new format sucks. Anyone else agree?
6 AnswersYahoo Answers8 years agoIPHONE .. tips and tricks?
OK.. so I finally broke down and bought an IPhone.. (3gs).. now comes the learning curve.
The phone is unlocked and works fine with my old sim chip, and that about sums up my working knowledge of it so far.
So... any suggestions, or sites with good info? Things to do with it (things NOT to do with it?)
..?..
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoWhere's an EXCELLENT shop to purchase a VW Beetle Long-block (air cooled of course)?
I sucked up some kind of debris into my air cooler and it fried the engine on the freeway before I knew it was overheating...
Because of time problems I can not rebuild my own this time so heres a unique question to come out of my mouth.
I am in California - Where in California (or even Oregon) is a shop that puts together a great and sturdy longblock? I have the Tin and the misc. stuff and can do the install.. I just need a good longblock? So, does anyone have any recommendations??
2 AnswersVolkswagen1 decade agoOK .. I need some help with converting CD's to my IPOD. Is there a better software to convert Audio Books?
Here is my problem. I like audio books (Books on Tape/CD) but in a story with 10 to 15 disk each disk just has tracks 1 - 10 or so. When I use the IPOD softare I end up with 150 or so tracks, each labeled Track 2 or so, obvioulsy with 10 disks there are 10 duplicate names. Add that to IPOD's love of shuffling the tracks into alphabetical or numerical order and the 100 plus pieces of the story are all jumbled unless I take 'years' and download one track at a time and then lable it.
Sooooo. is there a software (free or commercial) that can make this task easier AND.. combine the individual tracks per disk so that I just have 10-15 'disks' per story?
any suggestions? or better still, has anyone already solved this problem?
thanks....

I also assume that the MP3s are played in STEREO but Ill be darn if the literature says that.
