There's this guy who kinda has my heart right now. But, after I gave him a letter telling him how I felt. He just wanted to be friends. I cried so much. I never liked a guy that much. I do so much for him and he does too. I think I should hold on and let see if overtime he'll like me. But, we only have like 2 months of school left. I still wanna hold on because of the sweet things he's done for me. A guy who baked a cake for girl and delivered it in the rain because she won her basketball. I've gone so far. In this experiment, I was interested in how 5th-8th girls and boys think or feel about their body image. I knew that some teens struggle with their self confidence when they begin puberty because the body goes through many changes. They may compare themselves with actors and celebs they see on TV, in movies, or in magazines. My research showed that how a body image can affect what someone thinks about themselves. It shows that having self-esteem is important because feeling good about yourself can affect how you think or act. Also, psychologists and counselors agree that a negative body image is related to self esteem. The more negative thoughts you have towards your bodies, the more negative you may feel about yourselves. My experiment looks into the relationship between questionings about how students feel about their body image (x) and the number of people who respond. I will be surveying about 75 boys and girls with a 5 question survey to find out what their opinions are on their body image (y). Afterward, I'm going to count the responses I got and tally them up.
