  • Mass Effect 2 story glitch?

I'm playing the Mass Effect games for the first time on PS3 and when I finished the first game I chose to let the council live and picked Captain Anderson to be the new member. As I play Mass Effect 2 it appears that all my content from the first game downloaded except it now thinks I killed the council and chose Udina. Is this a common glitch because I cant seem to find anything telling me how to fix it? Not that I'm a perfectionist or anything but this detail really bothers me sense it is one of the bigger decisions in the game.

  • I just found a ferret but I think he's a little sick..?

I was driving with my bf for some late night snacks when suddenly, a wild ferret appeared! (Which is awesome because we live in Southeast Texas and never see ferrets on the streets). We picked him up and bought some ferret food but his fur was infested with fleas and these clumps of white stuff that I'd never seen before. I gave him a bath with diluted dog shampoo to remove the fleas and cut the clumps out of his fur with scissors. He's really cute although scruffy at the moment and my bf wants to keep him. We are taking him to the vet tomorrow for a checkup but he seems a little sick. His feet are red and splotchy and he movements are sort of stiff. I've never owned a ferret before and was just wondering if he was safe to keep in the house.. I have a dog and I really don't want the little guy we found to get us or the dog sick. Do you think its safe to keep him here overnight? It's defiantly in the high 90's here, could he just be over-heated?

  • My dog is driving me crazy!?

I like to think that I've been blessed with a lot of patients. I have always felt that there is nothing I cant handle, I can fix anything (like the fist sized hole my dog ate into the carpet at my apartment.... all the way down to the cement... in a matter of seconds!). I can clean anything (like the diarrhea he spewed all over said carpet this morning). I've always been able to do what it takes to make an animal comfortable. For example, running with him morning and night around the apartment complex and taking him to the awesome dog park where he lays down and watches me throw and retrieve his toys. He then hauls his tail back to the apartment and wants to play..and play, and play and of coarse we oblige, for awhile. He stinks. He screams bloody murder when we try to give him a bath ( a two person job for sure). Why we don't get noise complaints? Who knows?

Training? Of course we've tried to train him! He knows how to sit, how to go pee outside, how to walk up the stirs which he refused to do when we first got him. He comes in to poop, we rush him back outside and he just looks at us like "now what". He only wants to cuddle when he's in trouble. He'll look at you with big dewy eyes and lay his head on your chest as if to say "now what are you gonna do". We don't harm him or hit him, we raise our voices and he continues to walk all over us. Should I pop him with a newspaper or something?! I've never had to do this with any other dog. We praise him for doing good and shower him with treats. We bend over backwards trying to make this dog happy, and he seems happy when he's making us miserable. We got this dog a week ago today (he was a gift -_-) he's 6 months old and I keep telling myself that he'll grow out of it. I've had many dogs in the past that all have lived to a ripe old age, gone with me to the beach, played fetch outside, barked at our intruders and genuinely seemed to care about us. I even had another husky once when I was in high school, the best dog I've ever owed. Why is my current dog such a terd? I don't have the heart to give him away although he makes my life a living hell for more reasons than you would care to hear about. I want the BEST for him, I don't want him to hop from home to home because optimistic people like myself realize they cant handle him as well as they thought. I cant imagine coming home from class and being this depressed to be in my own home, and again we've only had him for a week!

I'm not asking a question, just venting. Although I have no idea what to do about him, advice is welcome. Please don't criticize, that's not going to help me at all. And we do have a Kong, he devours the treat in less than a minute (we've time it). This dog acts like he's on speed 24-7. Sleep? HA, maybe for an hour or two. And that goes for all of us.

  • How can I keep my husky puppy busy while I'm out?

Ok, so my boyfriend got this dog for free from someone he works with. The only thing is that he's a husky and its very hot where we live. We live in a one bedroom apartment and we love the dog but we're afraid he might be destructive to the apartment while we're gone. I'm a collage student and I work part time but I'm never gone longer than 6 hours (mostly.. sometimes a lot less) and I have time to come home and run the dog before work. My bf also takes out the dog several time a day when he's not working (he's off 4 days at a time). I jog with the dog mornings and nights and let him out several times for bathroom breaks, I also let him run off leash in the dog-park once or twice a day. Today I went out with my mom for about 4 hours and he chewed a small hole in the carpet.

I'm looking for creative ideas about how to keep him busy, he's 6 months old and a very sweet puppy. Would he calm down if we neutered him? We don't plan on bring anymore huskys to south-east Texas, that's for sure! I don't want to kennel him because it seems cruel to have such an intelligent, hyper dog in a space that small. He has lots of toys and busy-bones and we're doing what we can to keep him happy.

If you have any suggestions I will be more than happy to take your advice although a dog walker is not in the budget at the time and our work schedules are pretty irregular. The dog was a gift and he's a joy to have.
