I work from home and live an isolated life. But, I study subjects that interest me. Criminal psycology, keep up with the state of law as a former lawyer, and concentrate on day trading during the normal trading hours in the U.S. 9:30 ET to 4:00 p.m. ET. I hope my contacts will choose to email me directly to tell a little of their lives.

  • Weather is said to hurt the general economy. Your opinion?

I kind of feel that restaurant type operations are hurt severely. Think that we can all agree that you can not eat the meal tomorrow that you planned for today. Just wonder if most business categories are; likewise, hurt. Would really like your opinion.

  • The NFL and the players reach a legal settlement for brain injuries suffered by players.?

Is there any case for reducing the number of games back to 12 now to reduce the incidence and and cumulative effect of repeated trauma? Or is the issue not open for consideration among the league, the plays, and the people who what the games.

  • Why do people feel a need to attend any holiday, wedding or funeral. Is it not an imposition on others?

Personally, I would feel hurt if anyone attended my or my families' life events. It just seems inconsiderate to take time from the life of others for your "big days." Wedding, funerals. Just don't get the celebration thing. What is it about?

  • Tim Tebow: should he have been a first round pick?

I am neither a Denver fan nor a detractor. I guess that the choice to pick Tebow in the first round was a suprise, to me. I would have thought that he could have been picked much lower in the draft. Any responses or answers. Thanks

  • How Does Washington Redskins Improve ?

First, I am not a Washington fan; but, just don't understand how Snyder has spent so much money and cannot make real progress. There is an article today about the Bears sticking with a plan under Lovie Smith. Not a Bears fan. Is Washington just rotating its plans without giving one plan a chance to work out?

  • Tax On The "Rich?" Net or Gross Income.?

Is the $250,000.00 tax set to take effect on earners at the $250,000.00 level for the household or each spouse? Most unclear to me, is whether the $250.000.00 is adjusted gross income (net income) or gross income? Thanks for any clarification.

  • Boise State's Margin of Victory?

Is three (3) points over Virginia Tech really enough to make the case for a national title game? Most fans understand that schools from stronger BCS conferences will not be undefeated. Even the ACC has FL. State and Miami. No one picking an ACC team as a national title game or a team that has been "cheated."

  • Will The NHL Gain TV Viewers ?

as the public moves from the traditional screen to HD? I enjoy watching ice hockey; but, have never been to a rink. I find, after ten years of enjoying the tv games on regular screens, that the puck is still somewhat difficult to follow because the game is so fast. My guess is that a lot of sunbelt, greenhorn types, such as me, would have a better viewing experience on the newer screens. Opinions about the newer tv screen and the growth of NHL outside its traditional markets?

  • JonBenet Ramsey case.?

DNA has cleared the Ramsey family of involvement in the tragedy. We all come from differnt backgrounds and cultures in some way. My QUESTION: Why did the family not be as enraged as I would be or likely you would be at the suggestion of killing their own daughter? I do not understand the psychology of the family. If I accused you of picking up part of a tip a dining event, you would process that as vote on the tip being too high for the service provided. But, how can anyone remain emotionally even when talking about the death and worse yet, the murder of a family member? I would like some thoughts because this whole matter and similar cases have bothered me for a long period as defying the rules of normal human emotion. Contributions, please.

  • Church and Secular Private School Mergers?

There seems to such a strong case for private education that I am curious to know if church based and secular private schools have begun to merge to realize "economies of scale?" The answers on Yahoo overwhelming voted for private over public secondary education for reasons that most parents who responded hold in common. Have there been any successful mergers of church and secular private schools? The topic is interesting to me because I think the private trend will grow as the public school system becomes more incompetent in its mission of producing educated and civilized young adults. Private schools are such a refreshing and reassuring learning enviornment. It is in this context that I ask my question about cooperation across any possible secular-church divide in the philosophy of teaching and training young people.

  • Steelers Up For Sale? Part or Whole Team?

Business news wires are running a piece that the Rooneys are looking to sell either part or all its 95 percent stake in the team. Anyone have any of the real story on the potential sale of a major stake of the team? Seems that it is a family business due to estate taxes and some other factors. Ideas from you people in Pittsburgh?

  • Why is it said that you give your car away in trade?

I have a 2004 Honda CRV with 39,000 miles. Should I expect to get a trade in credit (no liens on vehicle) of greater than 60 percent of its fair market value? I have never understood the concept that you "give' your car to the dealer. Due the tax laws of my residence you pay much lower sales tax on a trade than sell your car and then buy with cash. Any guidance would be helpful. Thanks.
