4 AnswersSecurity7 years agoWhat steps build on music's 7 notes?
What are the logical steps to building complex music from the basic 7 notes. Eg: notes, sharps and flats, octaves, chords etc. Could a basic list of 10 steps be made from the simple 7 to amplified complexity? What would be the order? Thank you-- seriously.

2 AnswersGMC8 years agoHow to put a guitar out of tune on two strings for strong affect.?
Friend in Europe plays lead guitar on mid 50s rock. To make a point about art and music I want him to miss-tune 2 strings, and playing as if normal, to get a really rank sound that sounds bad but could be the song. What 2 strings and where fretted for the off-tuning of the six strings.
I heard a classical pianist play a pop song with the chords and notes out of whack, slightly off. I want my friend to play his Blue Tango in the same manner on his guitar especially out of tune-- out of tune for affect. I am a visual artist trying to make a point to a musician who is all music. I don't play guitar so explanation, or at least the basic needed. Thanks.
1 AnswerRock and Pop9 years agoCan you translate "euberfordern," from German to English?
Neither I nor my German friend could find it in our available dictionaries.
I think a loose translation might be, "asking too much of someone or something."
Precise translation would really be helpful.

4 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoHas any private individual contacted a university to see if a degree by a student was forged [UCLA]?
I know of a person who forged a UCLA degree in order to get a teaching position abroad. Will a university divulge information regarding a student's graduation and degree status? Must such a request come from a company or can a private citizen request such information? Seems like some times it is the perpetrators who are protected.

8 AnswersAdd-ons1 decade agoOpportunity to acquire well maintained 1979 Mercedes 300 diesel Station Wagon?
Anyone with experience with MB station wagon, diesel? What kind of mpg can I expect? It is a second car and the owner has given me an
incredible price. Are MB diesels of this vintage reliable or repair prone? Parts are costly and diesel fuel in Calif. more costly at this moment than gas. I only drive about 7 thou. miles a year.
Thanks for your insight.
