So much has changed since last I wrote this thing, that I see no point in trying to explain it here....so...

  • Pregnant Man!?

I acknowledge the fact I am about to sound extremely anti-gay, or whatever, here and will likely earn the disdain of Oprah Winfrey (oh dang!), but I don't really care.

Does anyone buy this line of crap that a man is pregnant. Allow me to set the record straight. This is a woman posing as a man. Now I really don't care if she thinks she is a he....she is a she. Don't believe me...look at her DNA...while the mind can be fooled, the DNA cannot. Mitochondrial DNA is only present in the mother...the female of the species...not the male. Therefore, if she were in fact a he, than she would be absent this. So then it comes down to she thinking she is a he but not actually being a he. Now if my uncle thinks himself a duck, we just laugh and lock him up...we don't celebrate the day he learns to swim. So, this woman is legal registered as a man, and we are all jumping up and down with the news that she is pregnant. So what? What is th point? Am I just that 'narrow-minded' to see this?

  • How is this the Marine Corps' fault?

    Check out this link:

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/200802

    15/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/marines_mrap_deadly_delay

I fail to see how this is the Corps' fault when they only get 4% of the DoD budget. Maybe if the Navy gave the Marine Corps more money to fight an actual ground war instead of investing in newer ships, this wouldn't be a problem. But maybe this is just me. What do you think? Drop some stars if you agree!

  • Pastor J. Olsteen?

Okay. I have heard this guy talk. I have seen his interviews. This guy is about as biblically-based Christian as charitable contributions to the eco-system that puppies leave in the park.

I am completely blown away at the crap this guy is shoveling out. When asked specifically: "Do you believe in only one God?" He hedged. He became wishy-washy. And this guy is the Pastor of a Church? A Mega-Church none-the-less?!

Seriously, please explain it to me...why are people following this scam-artist.

  • Tax Rebates and Illegal Aliens?

I am not implying anything with this question; but am actually posing it in order to determine the overall sentiment regarding this. It turns out this may well actually occur, since the rebates may not actually require SSN to be distributed.

So, what are your sentiments regarding the possibility that illegal aliens may have access to the President's/Congress' Economic Stimulation Package?

  • Universal Health Care?

Why does everyone care about universal health care? We already have it for the working poor, why do we need it for everyone else?

While I am all for the government taking care of its citizens, I am a little concerned with the costs incurred in this process. Is having Universal Health Care so important that any cost it generates along the way is worth it? Moreover, competition within the health care industry is what makes it efficient and modernize. If we remove this with a socialized health care plan, would this not hinder us in the long-run.

I know there is a lot of questions here, but I am looking for answers that are real and geniune. Anyone posting on here to stump for a Candidate will automatically receive a thumbs down from me, and I hope everyone else.

I like that 'no-stumping' rule. Give me a star if you agree. Maybe we can all institute this!

Do you believe the Democrats are truly an advocate for the working class? Why?

Conversely, if you believe the Republicans are truly an advocate for the working class than explain why.

  • Clinton and Nixon.?

Clinton (first term) and Nixon were both elected as President of the United States with only a mere 43% of the popular vote. No one seems to be contesting Clinton as being the legitimate President from such an outcome....yet to this day, Bush's presidency is still contested!

Why is this victory so hard to swallow for the Liberal!!????

  • Home Sales!!?

U.S. New Home Sales down to a 12 year low. So, who believes this is the work of President Bush?

Drop a Star if you think the Liberals need to shut up and stop blaming everything on Bush!!!

  • Musharraf's murderous act.?

How long do you think the news surrounding Bhutto's death will last? Do you think any sort of justice will be done? Even if Musharraf didn't order the murder, don't you at least think he is 90% to blame since he prevented her from having adequate security?

Drop some stars if you think this will be brushed to the side, and no one will be brought to justice for this.

  • Post-Christmas shopping?

Alright. You all did it. You survived the Xmas holiday, and the day after Xmas sale fenzy. Consumer spending is low this year. How many of you have been hoarding money just for the opportunity to spend it on yourself for these sales? Who here wants to go on a shopping spree?

Star me if you are, cause as an investor I need to know consumer spending will pick up.

  • Thoughts? Concerns? Prayers?

Opposition leader to Pakistani President Musharraf, Bhutto (a known Democracy advocate) was assainated today at a rally in Pakistan. Now is the time for the conspiracy theorists to come out of the woodworks. Who was behind it and why?

Any final thoughts on Bhutto? The kind of woman she was? what you though of her?

This was the third attempt on her life. She is more than a martyr, she is a pillar in the halls of justice.

  • Only some states do this. Should it be federalized?

There are some states that have a term to the amount of years you can be sitting on welfare. Should we make this a federalized program? Would it make a difference if we did?

I also was watching a program about entire households of illegals living off of the welfare system, some even had children collecting checks as though they were adults...and NO, they were not from California. Has anyone else seen or heard this? If so, what more information about this can you provide to this discussion? Also, how the hell does this happen? Isn't there a background check/application process to getting on welfare?

Please note I am NOT against Welfare. I believe it is a very humane and worthy institution that has been taken advantage of and only hurting those who need it most!!!

  • Americans in debt.?

You know, not to sound self-righteous, but I have been hearing a lot from everyone about the Government debt we have going. This is obvioulsy a hot topic that the candidates are stirring up on both sides, in order to marginalize the other. But have you really looked at this? Our government is about 9 trillion in debt. That's roughly more than the GDP of China. However, as constituents, where the hell do we get off? There are 300 million of us, and we have a debt load of roughly 14 Trillion. Now this is factoring in all debts, but debt is still debt, and we have a crappy savings rate to boot.

What debts do you have out there that you feel is holding you down? Are there any that keep you up at night?

  • Who Cares?

Okay. Apparently Brittany Spears has a little sister. Yeah, that flew way below my radar. And apparently, he 16 year old little sister is pregnant. AND apparently still, this is so damn important, that it needs a spot on the evening news. With all that we have going on in this world, who really cares if Spears' little sis is knocked up? This kinda thing has been happening for eons, and yet this is now NEWS?! Give me a star if you just want the Cable News to SHUT up about worthless gossip like this and focus on telling us the REAL NEWS!!

    Seriously!

  • Merry Christmas?

Hey. Be thankful you aren't in the Gaza Strip. You put up a Christmas tree or some lights and people think you are a Christian. Then the kill you.

Seriously, why do we care so much about helping these people? Are they genetically programed to kill each other off?

  • Linkin Park?

The first two CDs I liked. The sound was raw and real. Their newest CD is odd. I appreciate them stepping out of their comfort zone and trying new sounds, but I'm not to keen on it. I like the screaming. Am I alone on this?

  • anyone know anything about banking laws?

I am getting burnt out researching this stuff. Its dry and dull, and I would much rather be doing something better with my time this weekend. Besides, I am putting in hours on monday, so I would like to finish this up by then. What I need to know is this: If a foreign bank is operating within its home market, what does it need to do to be approved by the Comptroller here in the US? What are the fees/costs involved? How long is the process? If they are approved by the Comptroller, does this carry to whatever State they open offices out of? If they do not open branches, and operate exclusively over the internet, do they need to be registered in every state?

Yeah. This sucks. I know. But it is literally eating me alive. If you know of a site that could address some of these questions I would appreciate it. I have look on the FDIC site for: 1000 - FDIC Federal Deposit Insurance Act and the INTERNATIONAL BANKING ACT OF 1978, but these aren't telling me much.

    Thank you.
