I just want to advise young women to do there checks. even thou its rare its still possible.

I've got a tough year ahead. never ignore a lump.

I'm awaiting core biopsy results. had it done yesterday. the doctor done breast examination said cuz of my age (26) probably fibroadenoma but when the other doctor done the scan he looked at it and said it looks unusual as fibroadenoma are solid right through, mine has thick walls with a small amount of fluid. so done core biopsy and said probably come back as fibroadnosis instead. not cyst as too thick the walls and would of flattened when fluid removed which didn't. my lump is solid non movable and painless. he said cuz of my age there not treating it as possible cancer but obviously he cant say theres no chance it is. so wondered if anyone had it played down to them and turned out was? I understand they don't want send me home worrying. straight answers please. thanks

I have a lump where milk ducts are about 2" big although doesn't feel perfectly round or smooth. it's painless, solid like stone and doesn't move. I have scan and tests at the hospital this Tuesday. my mum keeps saying probably a blocked milk duct. surely i wouldn't get a blocked milk duct now after stopping breast feeding 2 1/2 years ago? and surely if it was from what can remember when I breast fed it would be very painful. this is completely painless, I feel fine

wanted to ask people who experienced or experiencing breast cancer notice there breast with the cancer to be slightly veiny but the non cancer breast fine?

my son of 6 has swollen nodes in his neck for about a year now. you can see them without touching. he had a scan few months ago (no other tests) and they said just swollen lymph nodes they should go away. well few months gone by and still there + more. I'm worried something more sinister. can a scan miss this? he is also very skinny, to me lost weight. I just hope it's not bad as I'm already going through tests for breast cancer.

I discovered a lump Saturday just gone when I casually itched my chest. I don't know how I've never come across it. it's solid and a bit bigger than 50p, It doesn't feel perfectly round and doesn't move and doesnt hurt at all. you have to press to feel it, it's not visible just looking. it's at the top of the breast under the nipple area. I rarely check as I'm only 26. I thought better check other breast (my left) and arm pit but all feels normal. then checked rest of right breast around the lump and my arm pit and to me the lymph nodes in arm pit feel swollen, also after prodding my right arm pit its now tender. I went doctors yest and she referred me to breast clinic, dr said take a week for appointment to come through. an hour after I leave surgery I get a call from hospital with appointment for week today! fast! got to have ultra scan to start with. I have 2 children youngest is 3 and breast fed both so know how my breasts should feel. I'm a little nervous due to fact does not move

my daughter has had this severe cough for about 4 weeks now, im exhausted cuz worst at night as she coughs sooo bad she vomits almost every night. ive tried everything and been doctors about 4 times, the 4th time they have given her an inhaler and that has changed nothing. she has always been proned to coughs for some reason but never like this. neither me or my partner smoke. just horrible seeing her struggle for breath every night and sometimes during day if somethings irritated it. she has also had just finished course antibiotics incase chest infection and still just as bad in the begining. ive tried everything. :-(

we have had him from 12weeks old. and he has been house trained fully since 4months. today i found puddle of pee where it looks like he has copped his leg up against the baby ball pool, so it splashed into it and left puddle! i didnt catch him do it, but clearly is urine. he has never done this before in our house. he did it once at my nans a little cuz she had dogs. that was yrs ago and has never done it since as he got told off big time for that. we havnt had any other dogs in here or anything change. im so cross with him and confused as to why?? he has never done this before in the house

ive only ever been on holiday once with my partner b4 we had children. im going away with his parents to tenerife on the 11th dec. my mother in law said we will do a shop at the supermarket. and some times eat out. i dont have a clue how much to take. i was thinking £350 as i have budget cuz of xmas. i wanted to buy few souveniers as presents. is it really exspensive out there? help!!

sorry if this is long but need advice. im 32wks pregnant currently, and basically my partners family live up the line and they have said that they are coming to visit the 1st weekend after baby is born. im fine with this but be best if they sleep at a hotel. we live in a 2 bed flat and also have a 3 year old son. the family that are visiting are his dad and step mum, little sister, older brother and his girlfriend. i know they will be fine with staying at hotel if we mention it to them, but my partner wont say that and said we will manage and that they can all stay here! he thinks his dad and step mum in kids room on floor, our son still sleep in his bed, then us and baby in our room still with his sister on the floor! then his brother and partner on our living room floor! my partner is being so selfish and is not thinking of me at all. im the one that will be up at night breast feeding, and also our son will not be able to play with his toys in the room because of the bed on the floor. and the amount of luggage i got to find room for. i don't need all that after just giving birth! i feel as thou i will leave them all to it and go stay at my mums with kids in my old room. if they stay at hotel to sleep and keep belongings then they can be at ours all day still and have meals at ours. its just the clutter of sleeping and luggage everywhere. what to do?

im 32 weeks and 1 day, and this morning i woke with painful what i think contractions. they have stopped now and i feel fine. can you have painful braxton hicks? I'm high risk to premature labour because of health reasons, so i have to be prepared.

im 31weeks pregnant and have a stomach bug, i was feeling awful all day yesterday and up being sick most the night lastnight. i did get checked out at the hospital yesterday because i was having abdominal pains but they said baby fine and not labour or anything like that, that was before i realise it was a stomach bug because i hadnt been sick till lastnight. whats best way to go about this? never had one in pregnancy before. i feel so rough!

i just feel hugh, but im all bump, i havnt really put on weight anywhere else. people think im due already. it is my 2nd child

its my 2nd child im having but my mind has gone blank to what i need to pack. i need to get it ready as doctor has advised to as i have a high risk of premature labour due to health reasons. im just over 30weeks now

i had them yesterday also, but then they went lastnight. but now i have them this morning. i feel like im going to come on. Do you think it could be the baby dropping or just stretching pains? i have no bleeding. but i have increased in discharge (sorry tmi).

basically on the 26th dec we are meant to be going up the line to see family but il be 32wks and the journey will take about 6/7hrs and we will have our 3yr old also in the car. im just worried that il get swollen or deep vein thrombosis or something. ive never traveled that long, that pregnant before. also i have a liver condition so i have weekly tests done right up to when i have the baby, and they said i can expect to have baby any time from now till 38wks, as this condition makes you likely to have premature labour. we are always coming up there, they never seem to come to us. why do we have to do the traveling all the time. also its going to cost a bomb in fuel! sorry about the rant. just would like to know if it is dodgy traveling that long journey at that many wks pregnant? thanks
