I have the following questions

1) Are private players as reliable as LIC?

2) On-line policies like Met Protect, ICICI i Protect, Aegon Religare etc are cheaper compared to regular Policies. Does it a have flip side (drawbacks)?

3) Does LIC have any online policy?

Basically I am asking you people to help me arrive at a decision.
