I am wanting to take an online distance education certificate program and it says most finish in 28-weeks of part-time study. Im wondering what is considered part-time study, would that mean studying 4 hours every day? like part-time work

When I set up a new printer on Ubuntu and click print test page what format does it send to the printer, I ask because I have a Large format printer and the test page prints fine but whenever I try to print a jpg or png it wont print. I have heard these printers only print from certain format which is not listed in the manual, this is why I wonder what format the Ubuntu print test page is

I Purchased a used design-jet 450c, Id t have been able to print the internal test page no proplems. I have Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid with EMc2. I have loaded the cups drivers and have sent an Ubuntu test page now problem. My problem lays in printing a photo at poster size. I was not able to print from jpeg nor png. so I converted the file to pdf I have set up all my paper sizes but I can seem to get the image to print Large, It seems that by increasing the percent also increases the margins, I have tried playing with the image size using GIMP but all that seems to be lost in the conversion to pdf

So I guess the real question is How do I print Posters from small pictures Using Linux?

I have ink cartridages that fit the black slot, I am waiting on the colors in the mail, but I would like to print in monochrome, Is there a way to reset the cartridge error for the color cartridges so that I can print in just Black?

I have a circle with a diameter of 6.25" I would like to cut strips of would .25" thick by .625" to make a cylinder. I have figured I would need 31 pieces(3.14x6.625/.625=31.4) if I divide 360 degrees into 31 pieces I get .0861111 degree, Would I be correct to set the miter angle on the table saw at .08 degree so that all my strips align into a circle? If I'm wrong in my thinking here please help me.

I pulled the spark plug, and I can see that it sparks when I pull the starter but even when I put it in loosely I cant get it to turn over. I closed the gap on the plug a little still no fire. what would cause this? why cant I get the spark to ignite starting fluid spray? Is it the magnet not making enough voltage, the spark jus isnt big enough, how do I test this?
