I'm looking for this thing that can be put on top of the metal burner on a gas stove to increase the space between the flame and the pan. Even the smallest burner is too hot, so I'm looking for something to decrease the heat! I'm just looking for a name of what this thing could be called.

I'm taking a road trip from Connecticut to Pittsburgh, PA next week. We are looking to see if there are any crazy/fun/interesting places to stop along the way (biggest ball of yarn, museum of oddities, etc). I don't even know where to begin to look for such things. Any advice?!

I have a large collection of DVDs that I'm trying to sell. I'd love to get a buck or 2 each for them, but all the online sites that buy them in bulk pay like 5 cents for them. Do you have any suggestions as to where I can sell them locally? I'm from CT if that helps at all. I'd also be willing to take them to NYC if thats any better. :)

We bought a hamster almost 3 weeks ago and didn't know she was pregnant. Her cage has one of those balls on top that act as a wheel but can also come off so she can run around outside. She chose this place to make her nest and have her little. She had 5 little babies. At the 2 week mark, at the advice of the person at the pet store, we moved her nest down to the main cage because the babies kept falling down the tubes. We moved them on Monday. We noticed that the babies were all different sizes: one very large/fat baby, 2 medium sized and 2 very small runtish babies. Tuesday morning we woke to find the smallest baby had been eaten. Today, I awoke to find the second smallest baby half eaten and the 2 medium babies dead in the cage. The biggest baby still seems healthy.

I read that for a mom to eat her babies after two weeks was very rare and I was wondering what people thought was the motive behind what happened. Was she stressed out? Were the babies sick? Did she kill them because they weren't as strong as the big one?

My boyfriend is really angry at the mom hamster (and I've tried explaining that it's what hamsters do. They aren't humans.) and I can't even imagine what he's going to feel when he finds out that there's only 1 left.

I had cable internet. The modem and wireless hub is in another room. Connected to that hub is a cord that runs to my bedroom. I was hoping to add an additional hub (nonwireless) to the end of the cord so I can connect multiple things without having to run additional cords. Is this possible? And if so if there any specific type of hub do I need?

I love her new CD but there is something about her song "phonography" that seems so similar and I can't put my finger on it. Does anyone feel the same and if so, am I right that it sounds very similar to another song? If so...what is it!!

My boyfriend and I do the same things every time we get together: eat food and watch a movie at one of our houses. We want to do something new. We can only do something between the hours of 3pm and midnight and he's very picky. We've thought about mini golf, bowling, the aquarium and thats about it. What else can we do?! By the way, we're both 24.

I want to get a crank charger the has a cigarette type adapter as the output. I want to get an adapter to put on it so I will be able to charge such things as my camera battery and ipod battery without having to use a car adapter...

I'm planning on spending 2 years in Mali with the Peace Corps and I wanted to know if anyone out there knew anything about how hot certain fabrics were. I know that cotton is a good fabric for letting your skin breath. My mother thinks that non-cotton fabrics would be too hot for the 90+ degree heat...

I want to install Warcraft II on my new computer that has vista but i get the following message:

"this system does not support fullscreen mode. Choose 'close' to terminate the application."

Any advice? Or is it something I should just give up on?

I'm trying to rid my computer of them all and when I run my antispyware it gives me a warning saying that if I remove some spyware certain programs may not work properly.

I volunteer at a daycare center in Costa Rica and I need to find activities for the kids to do. I wanted to find masks that I could print out and have the kids color in. Any suggestions? I was thinking animals or something along that line. I've found a few sites but the masks are all pretty bad quality. Any suggestions of other sites as well as other activities?

I havn't installed anything new and it's been working just fine. I woke up this morning, turned on my computer, tried to play a game and it appeared. I ran disk check and it seemed to fix the problem but it happened again. Can I do anything? Are there any programs to fix it?

any advice on how to fix it? Is it just faulty wiring? If it is, then why would hitting the CRT/LCD button fix it?

I put a 600MB rar file onto a cd to put a program onto another computer yet when I put the cd into the other computer it is no longer a rar file but an .iso file (I think) . Is there anyway to get it to show up properly? Thaaanks!
