  • New Television signal reception?

I wish to purchase a new television for my Winnebago and I need to know about reception issues. Will the new T.V. pick up the digital signals the government imposed recently as a stand alone unit with antennae or do I need one of those digital boxes they made us switch to for aerial signal viewing

  • R/V Generator too loud?

    Any ideas?

I found there are several "new" cars that you can barely hear running. Would it be possible to adapt the exhaust from one of those to quiet down the Onan generator on my Winnebago? The current new replacement exhaust is still too loud.

  • Airplane Color Question?

Watching the movie Pearl Harbor and I noticed a variation in some of the aircraft that has me a little puzzled. I noticed the Japanese ZERO airplanes that were in the movie were shown in two different colors. Some were white and some were green. Is there a reason for this or is it just some C/G effects guys version of the events?

  • Looking for antiquated automotove A/C component?

In the 70's era, there was an a/c component that was available for purchase to add a/c to a vehicle that was not so equipped. This device contained the evaporator unit, the fan and the controls for the older r-12 systems and was self contained to hang under the dash board of older vehicles.

I am in the market for a couple of these to put in a Classic Winnebago Motor home and If anyone has any idea where they can be located, I would really appreciate a link or a phone number.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Digital Television set questions?

I am purchasing an R.V. (Winnebago Brand) and wish to install a modern television set in it. I will also add a DVD player and I need to know what type of antennae do I need to be able to pick up airway broadcasts and do I need one of those digital boxes?

It will be a brand new flat panel (probably a 19 inch) television that will hang on the wall somewhere in the R/V.

  • Came across this joke and thought of the good people on here. Please note that I am a die hard Ford fan.?

    NEW

    TRUCK

I bought a new Chevy Silverado and returned to the dealer yesterday

because I couldn't get the radio to work. The salesman explained that

    the radio was voice activated.

    'Nelson,' the salesman said to

    the radio.

    The radio replied, 'Ricky or

    Willie?'

'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers.

    Then he said, 'Ray

Charles!', and in an instant ' Georgia On My Mind'

    replaced Willie Nelson.

    I drove away happy, and

for the next few days, every time I'd say,

'Beethoven,' I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said,

    'Beatles,'

I'd get one of their awesome

    songs.

Yesterday, some guy ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck, but

I swerved in time to avoid him.

    I yelled, '*** Hole!'

    Immediately

    the radio responded with,

    "Ladies and gentlemen, the

President of the United States ."

    Damn I love my

    Chevy

    truck......

  • Premier Dining Experience info wanted?

I know the hotel industry has 4 star and 5 star ratings and was wondering what the top rating (5 star I assume) would be for restaurants. What requirements are there for this type dining. I am thinking valet parking, seven course meals, top products like Kobe Beef, wait staff in tuxedos with white gloves, gold plated silverware, fine china dishes, A chef for each product (Meats, seafood, dessert, salads etc) and an expert of fine wines.

    Any thing I am missing?

  • 94 Ford Minivan W.O.T. Issue?

Changed plugs, Wires, Air Filter and Fuel Filter, Checked Fuel pressure (41psi.) checked all vacuum hoses for cracks and completed fuel injection service.

Vehicle cranks, idles and runs perfectly UNTIL you get to Wide Open Throttle. It bogs down (like it is starving for fuel) and has no acceleration or power of any kind. Let pedal up a little and it runs fine. This happens while in motion or while accelerating motionless both with and without the A/C running.

Code scan is clear of any codes. No dash warning lights activated either.

I have very little hair left because I am pulling it all out.

    Any ideas?

  • Dodge Frame Chassis under a Winnebago Camper brake question?

Have a vehicle in need of repair to brakes. Partially completed by another mechanic so I will take over where he left off. Brakes need to be bled. I got under vehicle and noticed what appears to be two additional brake boosters (vacuum driven) each with a device similar in appearance to a pair of master cylinders. These master cylinders have brake lines that run from the main master and then lines that run to the proportioning valve. I need to know how and where the bleeder valves are mounted on these things so I can get the air out of the system. The previous mechanic had a heart attack and I cannot ask him any questions on what he did so I will start from scratch here.

Anyone know of a repair manual on this type of truck chassis? It appears to be around a 600/650 or 700/750 grade of Dodge chassis. I have the vin so I can continue looking for a manual but have come up empty at the Dodge dealer, Local Truck parts stores and the local R/V dealership.

Customer wants it operational for sale and the faster I get it done the better off she will be.

    Thanks in advance

  • Another Hollywood Firearms Question, Does it exist?

In the Jet Lee movie Unleashed, The bad guy had a pistol (not a machine gun or rifle) that was full automatic. Anyone have any idea what company makes those and if so how to get one in the U.S. without violating firearms laws?
