What is your prediction on the game between Rutgers and Michigan State in East Lansing next Saturday?
When I first asked the question how high you would rate the chance of Michigan State going winless in conference play, they have lost to Wisconsin, Indiana, Northwestern and Maryland and were 0-4 in conference play, and 2-5 in total.
In addition came the losses against 7-0* Michigan and 2-6* Indiana
Their remaining schedule consists of
Rutgers (0-6, 2-7)
#6 Ohio State (4-1, 7-1) [Record to change tonight]
#20 Penn State (4-1, 6-2) [Record to change tonight]
With today's loss to Indiana, the only realistic chance to rack up a win against Rutgers. However, they have managed to play an extremely close game against a now 7-2/4-2 Minnesota team and also held Indiana to a one TD difference.
* = Record prior to the respective game

8 AnswersWords & Wordplay5 years agoHow high would you rate the chance of the Michigan State Spartans going winless in conference play?
They lost to Wisconsin, Indiana, Northwestern and Maryland and are now 0-4 in conference play, and 2-5 in total.
Their remaining schedule consists of
#2 Michigan (4-0, 7-0)
Illinois (1-3, 2-5)
Rutgers (0-5, 2-6)
#6 Ohio State (3-1, 6-1)
#24 Penn State (3-1, 5-2)
With looking like they wouldn't stand a chance against Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State, their only legitimate hope are Illinois and Rutgers, which leads me to the question about how you would rate the chance of Michigan State going winless in conference play, either in decimals or percent.

Fiers throws a ball right into Stanton's face and doesn't get ejected. In the same at-bat, he throws a pitch at Reed Johnson which may have also hit his head if he wouldn't have swung for the ball, still doesn't get ejected but Marlins manager Mike Redmond and Marlins infielder Casey McGehee do. Then, Anthony DeSclafani throws a pitch to the hip (not the head) of Carlos Gomez and immediately gets ejected without even a warning.

from .315 to .441 in one season is quite amazing for a team with basically nothing.

2 AnswersFootball (American)7 years agoWill there be any Big Ten school in the College Football Playoff?
Michigan lost, Michigan State lost, Ohio State lost and the chances that any of the six teams that are undefeated as of now will finish the season with one loss or less is extremely slim. (Note that Penn State is not eligible for a conference championship nor a bowl appearance and therefore is not counted as a seventh undefeated team)
Even if MICH, MSU and OSU win every game against other teams, they can't win against each other. That means either that all teams will get two losses at least or that one team is going to be undefeated for the rest of the year, another team finishes with two losses and the third team finishes with three losses.
