Just bought a new house. There are 12 ceiling speakers throughout the home and all the speaker cables are routed to a single spot downstairs. I just want to use it for listening to music, preferably controlled by an app. Can anybody suggest what kind of device I need to connect these 12 speaker wires to that would allow me to listen to music, preferably from my phone? And is it possible to group which speakers I want to listen to?

I'm placing one video partially over another video. However the video that I want to be in the front appears to be partially transparent whenever I place it in the editor. I can still see the other video playing behind it. How do I make it so that the video in the foreground is full original quality without being able to see through it at all? Opacity is set at 100%.

My mother worked as a CNA for 22 years. In that time her body has taken a beating having to lift people daily. Now, at the age of 62, she can't walk well at all. She can't walk up stairs at all and her steps are only 5-6 inches per stride. She was released from her job yesterday because of giving one of the residents an 8 hour aspirin instead of two 4 hour aspirins. She doesn't know what she is going to do without a job now and we suggested applying for disability... But can she get disability with her work situation?

I have the original HTC Incredible and was considering rooting my phone from the stock 2.3.4 to 4.2.2. The only reason I want to do this is because a few apps that I want, such as the UP app, require an Android 4.0 or higher Operating System. So if I do a Cyanogenmod root to my phone will it allow me to use those apps?

I have a slim LED Samsung TV that recently started having a problem. It now doesn't display 10 channels. Unfortunately, 5 of those channels are my most watched channels. I get TV directly through a coaxial cable that is going to the wall. Those 10 channels show up black and each of them say (ex: 31-1, 32-2,...32-9). Every other channel doesn't go through all those extra versions of the channel. I've tried a channel search which took extremely long (about 3 hours) and it didn't fix it.

I just want to know what is wrong. I have a warranty on the TV, but don't want to get rid of it if it doesn't sound like the TV's fault.

I am in the need of different vehicle in a few months. I am looking to buy a vehicle for around $10,000. Currently I have $8,000 in credit card debt on a limit of $11,000. I have $5,000 saved up in my bank account. What would be my best option. Use the $5,000 for a down payment on a car, or pay off $5,000 of credit card debt and take out a full loan on the car? My credit score is fair at 672.

My girlfriend has a DSL modem/router combo in the basement of her house and she cant receive a signal upstairs. The speed of her DSL is only 5MB/sec. The reason it is downstairs is that is where the original owner put some special DSL jack in the wall. I have tried a range extender and it still didn't work well at all. I was wondering if I spend the money to replace her modem and router with a higher end model would it help?

We have a DSL modem hooked up to a phone line in the basement that doesn't reach all areas of the house. I want to put it on the main floor, but am curious if I need the phone company to do some kind of work to use the modem on the main floor or if I can just plug it into any phone line.

I have a 98' Buick Skylark. The car was running perfectly when I went to go get gas. I filled the tank up and now it wont start. The car does not make a revving sounds at all. The only sound it makes when I try to start it is the sound of a cordless drill. What could the issue possibly be? It does have a lot of mileage on it at 180,000.

So a hacker took over my girlfriend email and Facebook. It is some automated account and not an actual person at the other side. Anyways I went into the Facebook and changed the email and password, but the automated account is still there. At least until it logs out. Is there any way to force the account to log out from my side of the computer?

I applied for a free Delta SkyMiles card a few months back and have taken 2 trips. My monthly statement now says I have just over a 5,000 mileage balance. How do I redeem my miles and does this actually mean I can travel 5,000 miles without any charge? When a co-worker signed me up for it they never explained how it worked. Any explanation is appreciated.

Now that Duke Nukem finally released, what current in-development game has been in that status the longest?

I am looking to make a high quality gaming DVD full of trailers. It seems mp4's offer the best quality. I can play them, but dont have any programs to copy them to DVD or edit them (very simple cutting, such as not including the first 15 seconds of a trailer). What program would you suggest? I have older Nero's and other recording programs that I have spent lots on, so if there is any freeware that would be great. Thanks!
