I was wondering two things. First off, is getting into the Army's finance corps difficult? I'm a high school senior going to Rutgers Business School next year, and I'm going to work my butt off so they let me major in accounting sophomore year. I've wanted to be in the military for the past 6 years or so, and I'm doing ROTC at Rutgers.

My second question is, do I necessarily need to major in "finance" for the finance corps, or is it just a name for everything that has to do with the business side of the Army. Also, do they have any accounting opportunities in the Army, or would I have to go Guard and pursue a civilian career as well if I want accounting experience.

I guess long story short, I'm asking, can the Army find something useful for me to do as an officer with an accounting degree?

So I never got science or math that well, but I always got B+s and A+s in the honors and AP classes so it's not like I am incompatible with it. The thing is is that I had teachers who in my opinion didn't really teach that well and I was wondering if there's anyone out there who went off to college and gave something they weren't particularly strong at a second chance and ended up majoring in it (e.g. you could have cared less about English in high school and ended up becoming an English major)

Alright so I've kind of narrowed what I want to major in. And by that I mean cross off philosophy, english, languages, education, and engineering off my list. So I'm a junior and I think I might be interested in some form of either business or economics. Are there any books that could help introduce me to what business economics are, what types of related fields there are, etc. For example, I know our school has us read Freakonomics as the summer reading book for AP Micro.

Also on a side note, if I wanted to get a BBA would management be the best option if I wanted to get involved with the leadership end of business?

By the way, I know business and economics are two different majors, but I just kind of rolled them into this one question because they're somewhat related, as opposed to saying deciding between business and the study of amphibious snails.

So basically here's the story. My friend acted like an asshole at this competition thing we were both at. So I kinda told her but like not really, I wasn't direct and long story short I thought I was alright with her so I let it go. But then the next week we were at a camp together and she lead me on to believe she liked me. Given she knows I asked her out before, but she compared me to the guy that she likes, and basically did stuff like hold hands and flirt that would make me believe she liked me. But then she blew me off the second half of the camp.

So when I got home from camp, I called her up and told her, again my fault for being indirect, that she can't lead me on and stuff. She told me "I thought you could take a joke". Well I got pissed and slumped into a depression until our mutual friend got pissed off and told her that I was pissed at her.

Then she messaged me on facebook apologizing. And I didn't believe she was sincere so I kept badgering her until I could tell if she was sincere or not. Finally she said "I give up" and I felt like I was going to lose any potential chance of friendship, so in a panic I forgave her.

However, I wasn't ready to forgive her. The rest of the week I kept getting pissed on and off at her but like I never told her. Finally I messaged her and I was kinda obnoxious. She said she assumed I hadn't completely forgiven her. I started out with a "light assault" and basically said she put me in a spot where I had no choice.

Finally I asked her if she wanted to hear what started this "chain of anger". So I reiterated the whole entire story from the competition to the leading me on at camp all the way to now. Then she said "I hope you had a fun time telling me how much you hate me and how much of an asshole the team thinks I am", told me the difference between me and her is that I let the little things affect me, and with that being said she doesn't have to take any more of my crap.

What the eff do I do?! I hate her guts now, she hates mine, but like idk. Part of me wants to hate her for being so arrogant and starting this whole mess in the first place. Idk I treated her well, was sincere, took her out to dinner, and she falls for some asshole punk (who btw had a girlfriend) after lying to me that she didn't want a commitment and didn't want to lose a friendship, then compares me to this kid, and then laughs in my face about it. It's like she doesn't think when she speaks and it's like she wants everything her way.

Okay so here's what I'm going to do over the summer, I'm going to divide my week into cardio days, strength days, off days. The strength days will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday. The cardio will be Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Sunday will be a break.

So for strength days I might do something like:

50 sets of 20 pushups for a total of 1,000 pushups done

50 sets of 20 frog hops (squat down like a frog and jump up) for a total of 1,000 done

50 sets of 20 flutter kicks for a total of 1,000 done

Then for cardio days I will run a mile hard.

If i do these exercises in an explosive manner and then get an intake of natural protein and carbs 15 minutes after (chocolate milk is my preferred option) will I get stronger? Main problem is I do not have a pull up bar or two bars to do tricep dips but I might be able to find a chair to do it on.

Is murder a venial sin in the following 2 situations

A) You are a member of the military. You are deployed into combat. You end up in a firefight and you have to kill someone.

B) You commit suicide because 1) You are a POW and cannot bear torture 2) You are in a plane that's about to crash and you cannot suffer burning to death

Can I apply to more than one service academy (i.e. applying to the Air Force Academy, Naval Academy AND West Point?)

Okay so here's the thing whenever I do a situp exercise like crunches I ALWAYS lose proper form. My question is is the hip swing motion in running/jogging good for building ab muscles. It trims fat so idk will I get defined abs?
