I have just caught a great fish and I want to try mount it my self but I am stuck with the tanning process for the fish skin, I know an old guy who uses formalin but his fish end up looking pretty rough. Any one know how I can do it, maybe house hold degreases etc??

I asked yesterday about the best paint to use for fibre glass, I have decided on Gel coat, does any one know what preperation is needed and if I can use two colours, does the colour mix with gel coat or do I apply colour first then the gel coat. Also is it expensive to geta contractor to do it? I would like to do all the prep work myself.

I have sanded my boat back, all fibre glass and I want to repaint it, what steps should I be taking and what type of paint do I use for fibreglass.

I need urgently to measure my wedding finger for a ring but I am stuck off shore and cannot go to jewellers. Does any one know how I can measure it out here, we have a work shop etc. I just need to know if it is circumference, diameter and Inside or outside? I would appreciate it. What is the partial pressure of O2 needed to dive @ 80meters with the balance being helium? Surface supply, and what size bailout bottle would I need?

I often make sashimi for my mates and family, I just catch the fish bleed it then put in freezer for a while to chill it, then take the fillets off and slice them in to strips. have on ice with wasabi and Japanese soy sauce.

Is this correct or is there some special way it should be done.

I have bought a 24fter searay, fairly light I have modified it and made a good strong outboard bracket for it, I managed to get a 300 horse mercury out board for it. Can someone tell me if it should be bigenough or would a couple 250s be better? There is not much wieght inside just 150ltr fuel tank and a 100 litr water up the bow.
