  • Suicide sounds appealing?

First of all, they say I am bipolar. I'm not sure if I believe this, but anyhow.

I keep having these weird suicidal thoughts. Like, whatever I look at I can relate back to on how to kill myself. Like for example, with the photo copier. When I saw it I immediately thought a good idea would be to throw a rope around my neck and try to photo copy the rope, so I get strangled. I DONT KNOW WHY IT JUST CAME INTO MY HEAD. Almost in the way some people relate everything back to sex, except this is with suicide.

I dont know what to do. I even tried to kill myself last week, these things are really getting to me. Is there any way I can stop any of this??? Without using a therapist or medication, because I use both of them and none of them seem to work.

The more and more I think about it, the more suicide sounds like a great idea.

  • Is there a medical term for when you have no self worth?

Like, let's say there's this guy and has been beaten by his father ever since he was six. His father always told him he deserved to die, he was pathetic, he was incapable of feeling emotion, nobody could ever like him, and the whole bit. NOW this guy has absolutely no self worth at all. He is almost suicidal and hates himself.

Is there a physiological/ medical condition for this?

  • Wanting to go and live in Sumatra?

I want to be a writer and go live in Sumatra in a shack in the forest when I'm older. By this time I would be twenty something and have a university degree in English. Is this possible? I am currently in New Zealand. Would I be allowed in Sumatra?

  • How long would my dad go to jail for?

Before I ask the question, I just want to ask you to please not go on about how terrible all this and how I need to tell someone and everything. I am not here to ask your advice on the problem. All I want to know is that if I tell the police, how long will my dad go to jail for? Will he go to jail?

I am in New Zealand. Our laws are basically the same to any other country. Except we do not have the electric chair. They got rid of the death penalty.

Ever since I was six years old my dad has beaten me. He threw me down the stairs when I was nine for saying God's name in vain. He has hit me with a belt for cutting classes. He has also hit me with one of those meter metal rulers for waking him up accidentally. Recently he poured boiling hot water on my hands. He pours water on my hands every time I get a bad report at school.

He's been doing this kind of things for ten years. I am sixteen now. My reasons for not telling anyone or never fighting back are irrelevant. I only want to know how long on average he'll go to jail for (and if he will) if I tell anyone.
