In addition, has anyone ever noticed if tiny organisms, viruses or bacteria have life styles and habits? You would have to take a "family" or culture, place it in an environment similar to its normal habitat and record the growth and habits of each specimen. Does the culture have a culture? Does it mate with only one of its kind? Does it "hang out with" certain cells it grew up with? etc. I'm serious here. Has anyone ever thought to research this aspect of small cell life?
