Is it okay for insulated refrigerant lines in a crawl space to sit directly on the ground?
We just had a new heat pump installed and in the process we moved the condenser to the side of the house. The contractors ran the refrigerant lines through the crawlspace. The lines are properly insulated, but are laying on top of the ground instead of being secured to the underside of the floor boards. Is this okay?
Please don't respond unless you know for sure. Your response does me no good if it's just a general opinion and you know nothing about HVAC systems. Thank you!
8 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoIs the PetSafe Underground Electronic Cat Fence effective?
I have a fenced yard but my cat can easily scale the fence and get out to the road. I know that most dogs train well with electric fences, but I'm skeptical about how effective it is with cats. Has anyone used this product or a similar product and tried to train their cat(s)?
