Just pretend you live by a sea where they are drilling oil in, such as the Gulf of Mexico. Is there any precaution you should take if so you live there, in case of an oil spill happening?

And if say an oil spill did happen nearby what would you do after.

Do you do nothing and carry on with your normal lives or

do you move right away from the coast as much as possible or

should you go and help out with the clean up.

And also are there any official guidelines you should follow in case of an oil spill (like ones like the Deepwater Horizon or Exxon Valdez).

so anyways our english teacher told us as a extra task for homework: we had to translate a 10(or more) line speach from the play we are studying: a midsummer night's dream into 'modern english'. i picked a random one from the book. It went like this:

and with my best translation skills i translated it to this:

See it is very simple. Can you see how fond I am now?

I was just wondering if it is good enough and 'modern' enough. translating stuff is one the weaknesses i have. and could you also help me by translating it back and giving me some advice.

hey everyone, i have just chosen a project to do for my science experiment i have to do for a science fair.

I just want to know how polluted our local stream is.

I don't really know how to do that, that's the problem. I tried researching it on google but it told me nothing.

ok usually on a monday mourning i have physical education at school. Usually we take like a 400-800 m run. But when ever i finish the run i vomit. i don't know why. it's never happened to me before. i remember last year i can run 2km non stop(and without vomiting afterwards) but now i can't even run 400m without vomiting.

Is it because i am not used to running in the mourning's (i'd never had PE in mourning's), is it because i suddenly exercised after the summer holidays(i am australian you see) where i didn't exercises at all

Though it seems like it only happens on Monday mourning's.

So please help i want to stop this (and go back to normal)

Also after i vomited i usually feel better and go back to normal and i vomit usually a few minutes after i finish the run. so it slowly builds up and then i vomit

recently i got out a brand new called "Brisingr". although the book is different from the other 2 books i have in the series: "Eragon" and Eldest".

first of all it is not a Corji book. the others are. although it still belongs to random house group and it is printed/published by Doubleday. but the others were published by Alfred A. Knopf. but arccording to wikipedia "brisingr" are published by Alfred A. Knopf.

whats more is that i didnt bought it from a book shop but a shop that sells nearly everything.

even the barcode area is different and the website given is differnet. on the end it says .au.com could it mean it is differnet because it is a different country.

is it a forgery or something. have anyone has the same book but different description. please answer!
