I have 4 days off for a road trip with my mate. Where are some viable central Queensland destination if I'm heading out of Brisbane? Cheers?
Looking for any suggestions, thinking natural attractions, though a famous pub or something would be just as good. I do have a fairly capable 4x4 so off road destinations aren't out of the question. Cheers
2 AnswersGeneral - Australia6 years agoSuzuki Bandit 250cc won't idle, cuts out?
Hey I recently purchased a 1990 Suzuki Bandit (Slingshot) 250cc. Took it for a test ride and seemed to go all good (the guy had it running on arrival most likely to warm it up) but as soon as I got it home it started having a few issues. It cut out when the rev's dropped, refused to idle and struggled taking off without a heap of rev's. It rides fine when it's going though and will even idle fine occasionally but sometimes it'll drop revs and cut out again (hot or cold and repetitively). I've just added some fuel cleaner to the fuel and am considering trying to spray down the carbies but as it is a fairly old bike with relatively high k's (~48000) for a 250cc, I'm worried it might have something to do with timing (cam chain etc). Would it more likely be the fuel system ie cabies in need of cleaning or balance or could it be something more sinister?
