  • Lien holders rights against not having Comp & Collision?

My current situation is that i want to remove Comp & collision from my policy, as it is solely costing 175 dollars on my policy (total of 286/monthly). I currently owe less than 2000 dollars for the vehicle which is less then the maximum deductible amount available.

I rather not waste the 2100 dollars a year which is money i need for other monthly expenditures.

  • Lien holders rights?

Can a lien holder on a vehicle sue or "report" a person for not having Comp & collision on their insurance policy?

My current situation is that i want to remove Comp & collision from my policy, as it is solely costing 175 dollars more on my policy (total of 286/monthly) then if i didn't have it. I currently owe less than 2000 dollars for the vehicle which is less then the maximum deductible amount available.

I rather not waste the 2100 dollars a year which is money i desperately need for other monthly expenditures.

  • Which should i get First. Car modification/restoration?

I am looking to make some improvements on my car but i am stuck on buying piece by piece so i can save cash.

    A- Tires

    B- Suspension

    C - bucketseat

why C you ask, well i'm a very spirited driver and at the end of the day my seat is crap. C was what i plan on getting first, but sense my tires are starting to fall off(may have 2k miles left) and with that im undecided if i want to upgrade my rims aswell to fit a larger size tire, i dont want to have to buy 2 pairs in a row. My suspension is pretty old and worn out( 2003 ) but everything i like is over $1k.

as with the rim a tire package is over $1k aswell. where as the single seat replacement is the cheapest.

I may want to go ahead and purchase the others before i indulge my self in comfort.

    Suggestions please.

  • what type of tires are good for l.a?

i am currently looking for new tires. i know some things about tires i've been researching them for a long time specifically high performance/summer tires. i live in Los Angeles so wet/snow traction is the last of my priorities.i need a tire that will be quiet and stable at high speeds (80-120), firm sidewalls for bends and i want it to stick to the road while pulling off. also i need them to last more than 15k miles though. most sports tires i looked at had very poor mileage. that's reasonable knowing there not meant to last long sense there use is for tracks. i need a tire that has bits of both worlds.

  • huge audio system discussion.?

I've been sleeping on an idea for some time now. I'm not really looking for an answer for as of now the idea is only a concept and i know that this project will cost well over 40 grand. I’m into factory looks and OEM system. As most of you know Infiniti's audio systems aren’t the to the average listener many might disagree but as an audiophile like myself many would agree their systems don’t have great sound.

I plan to fully customizing an 07 M45. I want to keep the original head unit because most of the electronic features are run through it. Also the steering wheel controls and everything about the system looks great why tamper with it? I plan to rip out every last speaker in the car and most of the upholstery for the custom interior work. At the end of this customization there will be a minimum of 30 speakers. This includes tweeters-subs. just about every surface in the car will have a speaker hidden away or fabricated into it. I have been looking at Hertz speakers that will be powered by focal amps. All wiring will be high grade Monster cables.

    Here comes the discussion part:

What would be the best way to power this system? I will have 6 subs for sure. Each one powered by its own mono-D amp. Each amp is under 1000 watts. The amps won’t be that powerful and I don’t want to run them full power for safety purposes. I do not feel like replacing anything. Still warranty is a must for all of these products are going to cost well over $500.

There will be 6 mono-D amps. As of now my idea is to have at least 2-4 4channel amps to power the component systems in the housing. A total of at least 8 amps.

What do you guys think would be the most logical way to power this system? I'm considering Kinetik batteries and upgrading the alternator, though this would be the hardest part to do on this car. Powering this system will be the most difficult part on this project.
