  • I have an abcess on my jawline?

It started with pain in my wisdom tooth, and my face swelled, rendering me unable to open my mouth for about a week. I went to the dentist, but they couldn't open my jaws enough to take an X-Ray. They prescribed Clindamycin to treat infection, and asked me to come back when the swelling had gone down. In the meantime, I lost my job and could not afford to go to my follow-up appointment.

In the past year, it has swelled up and gone down, until I went to the ER. At the ER they informed me that I had an abcess in my cheek, which did not seem to be connected to my jaw. They numbed me and drained it, saying there was a lot of pus. For about a week it seemed better, and when the swelling and bruising went down, I continued to drain it daily. I tried leaving it alone, applying peroxide, using neosporin, keeping it wrapped or open....and no matter what I do it seems to swell up again to the point of being painful within a day or two, so I HAVE to drain it. Sometimes my back teeth seem to throb as well.

I am trying to figure out the best course of action. I am now employed, but I don't have insurance and can't afford to go to a dentist, a dermatologist, a primary care, and other doctors to narrow down and solve the problem. I am wondering if anyone has encountered something similar, and has any advice? Thank you in advance.

  • Who makes the X's on olives?

Who carves those little X's on whole olives? Maybe it comes from the branch they are plucked off of...they just seem so regular that it made me wonder.

  • Firefox Firewall SSP?

When I try to open a Firefox window, I get a random security message, that based on the grammar, I believe is a virus. Does anybody have any suggestions? Internet Explorer works, but after a few minutes it claims there is an error, and closes down. Firefox won't open without this message. I have tried system restore (no restore dates other than the past week) and AVG virus and a few other programs could find no problems.

I get this message."Could not initialize the browser's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your browser's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the browser and fix the problem. If you continue to use this browser session, you might see incorrect browser behaviour when accessing security features."

I've tried resetting the firewall settings to default also....what can I do?

  • Living Lohan?

I've been meaning to check this show out on E! for a while...I've finally gotten around to watching it...although part of me feels like I should just illegally download it so I don't help the ratings, lol.

Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this show? Feel free to rant, because I'm definitely not a fan...in my opinion it's just for publicity. (Which I am aware I am now giving her, but whatever!)

  • Sick of the thumbs down.?

Ok...this question has been posed before, but seriously, WTF? Do people have that little to do with their time that they give complete strangers a thumbs down for every little thing? Like an opinion....or a suggestion....sometimes I wonder why yahoo even offers the thumbs down option. It's just another way for lame people to act out anonymously, without having to deal with any real life consequences.

More of a complaint than a question really!
