I have a 2006 Chevy Aveo. Last December my 16 year old son had an ice-on-the-road issue and it caused axle issues. Long story short, front end axle and system replaced. ($900.00) Last night, going to the Homecoming game, he was driving through a neighborhood (so not very fast), and as he put it "something went "bang!" Now it makes a deep grinding noise, and the passenger tire is pushed back (front to back) in the wheel well. It's still parked on the side of the road because it can't be driven.

So, what happened? And if the axle system was replaced less than a year ago, is this a faulty part? Last but quite important....shouldn't it be covered by the warranty?

Help! I don't have another $900.00 to fix this!

I posted several answers the other night- OK, quite a few,

and when I opened my mail, I had (what turned out to be) 3 pages of mail saying my answer was the best answer.

At first I was shocked that I had that many best answers. Then I was shocked that I had even answered that many questions! When I discovered it was 3 pages worth, I knew something was wrong.

So as it turns out, I got 2 best answers, but the system keeps sending me messages alternating between the 2 answers as the best- like it's stuck in a programming loop or something.

So how do I contact someone and get it fixed?

I taught K and 1 for 13 years and as they say, out of the mouths of babes....

The dog we have now is named Mayday. My son wanted to name him that from the scene in Tory Story where they yell "Mayday! Mayday!" which we thought was hysterical! Then when we decided to get a rescue dog, what other name could we use?!

How did you chose your pet names?

My 9 year old son wants to know why big brothers are "so annoying?" But I'm sure many of you had older sisters that were also a pain. He'd like to know why you think this is.

I mean, we've all heard the urban legends about strange names, but what "different" name have you TRUELY read or heard?

One year I had a Shawnika, Shandrika, ShaQuanda and Quantia all in the same class!

But the kicker was Jasmyne- which was pronounces Jay-me-in because the S was silent!

For some reason, in the last 3 years, people seem to be going away from professionals shooting weddings. Why would you want to rely on pocket cameras and images shot by people who don't understand lighting, to capture the most important day of your life?

Did you have a professional at your wedding? Why or why not?
