  • What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 Intervertebral Disc Disease?

I have been researching online as much as I can but are there clear differences between the two that can help me determine if my dog is improving vs getting worse? I am doing everything my vet recommended but just trying to educate myself as much as possible. Thanks in advance.

  • Which MBA track to consider with sales background?

I have about 5 years of professional experience in sales and a little bit of client success/retention. I am interested in obtaining an MBA as I feel it relates most to my experience.

For anyone else that may have an MBA with sales experience, which emphasis does your MBA have? Do you have any helpful advice? I was considering operations management as I’d love to pivot into that sector but I’m not sure. Thanks.

  • What happened to my dog?

My small dog (Chihuahua) was picked up by someone (after I told them not to) and ended up jumping from their arms and falling. I did take her to the animal hospital and she was checked out.

However, right after the incident, my dog started shaking very badly and swaying/bobbing back and forth. Her eyes did not flicker but she wasn’t blinking. Just big eyed. She was also having trouble walking (crouched when she walked, couldn’t find balance)

I told the animal hospital all of this of course and she has a follow up appointment with the vet. But I’m wondering what happened? The animal hospital did not find any immediate signs of physical injury and her vitals were normal. Do you think it could be a head injury? I’m just trying to get a better idea so I can keep an eye out for any weird behavior.

  • Do you include your commission when people ask your salary?

For example, say I had a base of 50k but had the potential of 10k in commission if I make quota every month. Would you tell people you make 50 plus commission? Or would you say "I make 60 but that's including my commission, which I tend to make."

  • How to stop being friends with someone politely?

I have realized recently that there is a group of people that consider me a friend, but I feel that their morals/values do not align with mine, we do not have much in common, and I don't particularly enjoy them. How do I politely fade away from these friendships? I have tried responding less, putting off hangouts, etc. but it hasn't seemed to work.

  • How soon is too soon to find a new job?

I have been at my current company for about a year and 10 months. I was in one role and did a lateral transfer to a new role. I enjoy my new position but not my company. I would love to do my current job but at a different company. How long should I be in this new role before applying to another company? I know rule of thumb is typically at least a year at the same company, which I have. But I do not have a year in this particular position.

  • What to put on resume for furlough?

I was furloughed in April due to Covid-19. I was unsure if I should put the end date of April 2020 on my resume or keep it "present" because I'm still technically employed? Because I am, I'm just not working. I'm still on my company benefits, etc. They just took a pretty big hit. But I don't want to mislead hiring managers. What's the standard protocol for this?

  • What to do when your ex is on your mind?

I dated my ex for about 2 years. We broke up about a year ago. I have gone through the grieving and the sadness and I feel okay, but they still cross my mind pretty frequently. I don't necessarily miss them and I do not want to date them, but why are they continuously in my head? It frustrates me because I feel like they shouldn't be and I don't want them to be. Hopefully someone has some helpful insight/advice for dealing with this. It isn't fun.

  • Dog acting weird after vacation?

I have a 3 year old Chihuahua. I adopted him about a year ago. He has grown quite attached to me after our time together, just as Chihuahuas typically do. I went on a vacation for one week and left him with dog sitters in their home. These sitters used to foster him for several months, so I felt he'd be more comfortable there as opposed to at the vet. When I went to go pick him up, he acted like he didn't know me! He shied away, sniffed me a little, but then would retreat. He did not run to greet me or act excited at all. I suppose my ego is a bit scorn haha, but I also have never experienced this behavior before with any dog.

Is it because my scent was different? Did he attach himself to the sitters and forget about me? It's been a day and he is acting more normal, just a little less cuddly. Any insight would be appreciated.
