I was given a tarantula as a gift. I've never had one before so I am a total novice....I have a LOT of questions?
I have him in a 3 gallon terrarium with coconut fiber as substrate and a small hollow log as a hiding spot. I've read that their eating habits are a little sporadic and to offer crickets but if it's not eat right away remove it from the enclosure. My big question is water. How do I keep him hydrated? Everything I've found online is about keeping the crickets he eats hydrated.

I downloaded an album but all the songs cut off before they finish. How can I re-download them because I paid for the tracks but they are useless to me as is.

I baked it according to the recipe but the middle is still really squidgy and wiggly like it isn't done. Should it look like that?
3 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoDoes your religion consider hair color and make-up sinful?
And if it does, do you consider hair stylists and colorists to be agents of satan?
BQ: If you know any of these agents of satan, could you ask them to have a look at this for me?

I am locked out of my car, can someone lend some insight on how I might successfully gain access to my car (short of breaking the f-in' window). My cell phone is IN the car so I can't call the roadside rescue service that I have through my cell phone provider.

17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoSpiritually playing...?
I just bought myself a Duncan Butterfly yo-yo! Yo-yos (and particularly the Duncan Butterfly) were always my favorite toy as a child. I have been playing with it off and on all day and felt more relaxed and happy than I have in ages! Do you have a favorite toy from childhood and do you occasionally indulge in play? I think play is good for the soul.

Oh, and do you have a favorite hymn? When I was Christian, my favorite was How Great Thou Art.

Please help me with this deep spiritual debate. At work we are trying to determine whether the all-access style of crotchless panties equates to the same freedom as going commando. Many thanks for your input.

Your answer can be as frivolous or as serious as you'd like. This is a favorite phrase that I use to describe anything that annoys me or I dislike. Currently the answers would be shrimp or coconut. Clowns and geese always fit the bill.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoSpiritually speaking...How do I turn around a day that is off to a rough start?
I wake up to 2 violation notices (granted I suppose TECHNICALLY I earned one of them), then I spill scalding coffee down the front of my shirt and into my boots, it's raining so hard that I may need a canoe to get to school, and because I'll be drenched when I get into the shop, I won't be able to weld until I dry off a bit...my Thursday is a bit of a challenge...any ideas how I can turn this day around or should I crawl back in bed and ask for a re-do...spiritually speaking, that is.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDo I have to pay 2 different baggage fees for a checked bag if I am changing airlines during my trip?
I am flying Delta then switching to Hawaiian Airlines. I know if I check a bag I will have to pay Delta $25 ($23 if I pay in advance), but will I also owe Hawaiian Airlines a fee as well?
1 AnswerPacking & Preparation1 decade agoWhen setting a fitness/weight loss goal?
Do you find it more helpful to set a weight goal or a size goal? I am exercising 45 minutes a day (not loving it but, you know, it's better than dying) and eating healthier. I am 5'7". I don't wish to be thin or skinny, my goal is be at a healthy weight. I've been overweight most of my life (I'm 34). My question is should I set my goal at x-number of pounds or a dress size (I am currently at 230 lbs wearing a size 20...although a little loosely in the last several weeks)? And what would be a healthy goal?
Thanks for your advice and input!

11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat kind of person attacks Christians?
This is a direct quote from someone claiming to be very much in love with god....it says so in their name.
"What kind of person dreams up this question?
What kind of person attacks Christians?
How stupid of me, the same kind of people who crucified Christ."
Does this person realize that if "that kind" of person hadn't crucified Christ, there would be no sacrifice, no grace, no new covenant, and no salvation? (For Christian types anyway)
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs 30 minutes a day on an elliptical trainer enough?
I have started exercising about 2 weeks ago. When I first started I was dying after 5 minutes at 40 RPM on my elliptical trainer. Now, I am up to 30 minutes, at alternating speeds but I am doing about 10 minutes at 60 RPM. At the end of the 30 minutes I am sweating my buns off and very out of breath, but it's getting a little less horrible every day. (I don't actually enjoy exercising, it's a chore for me) My question is, am I doing enough for me to be able to expect to see weight loss and possibly (gasp!) muscle tone? If so, how long should that take? If not, What should I change? (I have modified my diet, not to the extent that I intend to, but I thought I'd get in the exercise habit before I change my diet a whole lot...I don't want to discourage myself.)
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
5 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoWood-working? What type of sealer/varnish could I use for wooden vessels/utensils that would be food-safe?
I want to make a wooden goblet but I want it to be usable so it needs to be sealed with a food-safe sealer/varnish/shellac. (I don't know the proper word to use as I am new to wood working)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
3 AnswersHobbies & Crafts1 decade agoHow to start an exercise regime?
I have a new elliptical exercise machine and I serious about using it. It's not so much for the weight loss benefit, but because I am in a deep blue funk right now and the only way I know that will lift my depression without drugs is regular exercise. The weight loss will just be an added perk.
Anyway, the question is, how do I establish a regular routine that I can stick with. Right now I am really out of shape and 5-7 minutes is the most I can do at a stretch. I was thinking that if I did 7 minutes at a time 5 times a day that would build up my endurance so I can do longer spans. My goal is to get up to doing 45-60 minutes a day. Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Merry Christmas!
