I don't know if this is related, but Comcast just had us switch from McAfee to Norton, now my browsers won't open. I think it was ok the first day but the second day I turned on my computer, they didn't work. I click on them and the hourglass icon comes up a few times but nothing happens. It won't work either from the start menu or in safe mode. Can someone help me? I can open Skype, Excel and other programs.

I hooked it up yesterday to my mom's computer and it worked fine. Now when I try to start the computer the Windows start up comes up but then goes blank with this message. I can't even get into the menu on the monitor to adjust anything. I checked the modem, connections, etc. Please help!

My mom is 83 and owns her home outright in California. Is there any reason to keep reciepts of how much improvements cost? I don't think there is any tax benefit unless the home is being rented. Am I right?
