  • Why are there so many white knights?

Lately, I have been seeing a lot of questions about men hitting women and a lot of people say that it is never okay for a man to hit a woman, even when in self-defense. They say that a real man does not hit a woman, which is true if you are talking about men who beat women just because they can. But a real woman does not hit a man, either. And just because men biologically grow more muscular as it is part of their puberty, does not mean that men should have to forgo their rights to self-defense, simply because it is a woman who is hitting them. Not all women are weak, defenseless, innocent little flowers and, to me, if a woman wants to act tough like a man, she needs to be treated like a man. Anyone who has the audacity to attack/bully/beat up anyone are equally sh*t heads; they all do it because they want to be in control and they all do it because they feel like they can get away with it. Whether they have a v@gina or a pen!s is completely irrelevant. So a question to you white knights and "feminists", how is a woman who hits a man any less worthy of a good beating than a man who hits a woman? I thought you people were for equal rights..... Well, equal rights means equal fights and this is a huge double standard that none of the feminists, men or women, like to bring up. So why is it that a man should not ever, not even in self-defense, hit a woman if they are attacking him?

By the way, I am an egalitarian female and I believe in equal rights as opposed to women's rights.

  • What is climate change?

Just out of curiosity, what the hell is climate change? I've heard so many people mainly if not only liberals talking about it. I just want to know what it is and what the people who believe in it suppose we should do to change it. I've only known it to be that the earth is changing, but even if it is, what would we even be able to do about it?

  • Why is there so much feminism?

Why is there so much feminism lately? I am a female who turned 18 in August 2016 and recently started college. I never thought about feminism unless I was in History class. But once I got to college, everyone thought that feminism was a big thing and not the classic feminism, the modern day feminism where all women are still suffering and blah blah blah. I mean, these people still think that we are being oppressed. We're not. I don't know if the world was always this way and I just couldn't see it because I was a sheltered little girl or if people have always felt this way. But why do they? I mean, I don't feel oppressed....

What ethnicity/race do I look like?

I am an 18 year old who is adopted from Seoul, South Korea and raised by a Caucasian American family in California and throughout my years, I have been told by various people that I look Samoan, Filipina, Hmong, Vietnamese, Thai, Cambodian, Chinese, Japanese, and Mexican. I know that because I am from Korea, I should have some Korean ancestry in me, but I recently got an ancestry DNA kit that was supposed to tell me what my true ethnicity is. I have not yet opened it, but I was wondering what other people think that I look like before I get my results to see how accurate they are. So what ethnicity do I look like?

  • Guys, do you like tough girls?

I don't look like a tough girl; I appear really quiet I'm 18, Korean, 4'10" I am about medium in size (Im a size 3-4 depending on the clothing brand) Ive been a dancer from the age of 3-17 & I am in Shou Shu kung fu. Sometimes I dress fancy w/ dresses or skirts & heels and sometimes I dress comfortable w/ sweat pants or jeans w/ t-shirts and boots, converse or vans. Although I have a girly side I also have another side like instead of collecting lip gloss and nail polish I collect knives (folding knives, swiss army knives, throwing knives, daggers, etc) I also own a bow and arrows (I want a crossbow too) & I really want a gun and to go to the shooting range someday and be taught how to aim. I don't want my man fighting my battles whether it's w/ a girl OR a guy hence being in martial arts. In fact, in my Shou Shu class I LIKE being hit (I hope that's not too weird) Im debating between a career as either a crime scene technician or a criminal psychologist (like profiling) I dont have girly, gossipy talks about things like boys nails and hair care products but talks about things like video games, fights, guns and if Im in the right mood politics. I also like talking about life & what is to come of it but I have read on yahoo answers that a lot of guys dont like tough girls apparently women are supposed to act like "women" not like "men". I just wanted to know if my hobbies and personality traits make me appear unattractive because I am "not woman enough" to be approached by men

  • Is it weird to collect weapons?

I am an 18 year old girl and ever since I was 16, I was very interested in weapons. I have things such as a bow and arrows. I also collect a lot of pocket knives (12 folding knives, 6 swiss army knives, a dagger, a batarang, 2 throwing knives and 2 utility tools); I kind of want to add things such as Samurai/Katana swords and I really want some crossbows and guns. Is this kind of weird?

  • Four trimester abortions?

Are there really fourth trimester abortions? I have recently heard that there is a movement supporting fourth trimester abortions which means that you can have an abortion three months after the baby is born. (In other words, infanticide) There is also a video showing a guy trying to get people to sign a fourth trimester abortion petition. Is this really a thing because if it is it sounds pretty disturbing to have the ability to legally murder a child who is three months or less.

  • Global warming?

I've never noticed this before but a lot of people are very concerned w/ global warming. They get very heated about the subject, too. So I am confused. How is global warming such a big topic? Some people even think that global warming is a man made issue. But how? Even if there is global warming, what could WE do to stop it?

**Note that this question is note meant for a debate, but simply to see what those people who fear global warming think**

  • Adoption v abortion?

When people say that it is worse to give your baby up for adoption than to have an abortion is their true concern the baby or the mother? I was just wondering because lately I have been hearing that adoption causes more trauma on the mother than abortion. But how is it easier to abort than to give your child to another family? I have also heard that some of the children end up being abused, but I along with many other adopted kids have ended up in a loving family. I personally believe that adoption is way better than abortion being that I am adopted but this is not a question to strike a debate between pro life and pro choice and whatnot but more of a question to see it from another perspective

  • Adoption vs abortion?

Why do so many people believe that abortion is okay but adoption is wrong? I am a female adopted from South Korea and I am perfectly loved. I never felt unwanted b/c I was given up for adoption. I actually felt loved and happy to be alive from adoption rather than nonexistent from abortion. So when people say that it is worse to give your child up for adoption than to have an abortion are they talking about the child or the mother? Also, it gets kind of tiring listening to people say that children should be aborted and not adopted especially because they do not know that I am adopted so they talk very freely of adopted kids and it is kind of annoying. Does that mean that they would rather me be dead? I just want to hear someone else's opinion

  • Republicans and Democrats switched roles?

I am a Republican, but most people do not know it. I hear people talk about us as if we are the KKK. They say that we are racist, sexist, privelegded, redneck, white supremacist males. Just to be clear, I am an 18 year old Korean female who was adopted and cared for by a Caucasian, mostly conservative, family. And when I hear things like that, it makes me wonder what they would say if they knew that I am a Republican. But anyways, I recently heard that the Democrats started things like slavery, the KKK, Jim Crow Laws, etc. But when you bring it up to them, they say that the republican and democratic roles switched in the 1960's. What exactly does that mean? Because I can understand that beliefs could evolve over time, but how do two political parties literally switch beliefs with each other? Is that supposed to mean that it was republicans who created things like slavery, or is it a defense mechanism to deflect their wrongdoings in the past? In other words, is it just BS?

  • Pro life pro choice... pro abortion?

I know how there are typically only two different groups of people when it comes to abortion rights, pro life and pro choice. But lately I have realized that some of the people who are pro choice believe that it is the mother's right to decide regardless of what they, themselves, would do, but there are other pro choice people who literally cheer when a woman has an abortion as if it is the best thing and everyone should have it. Would those people be considered pro abortion? If not then why?
