  • Favourite of the emperor?

Before my computer crashed, I had found a picture of a bust of the favourite of a Roman emperor.

I wish I could remember his name or even the name of the emperor, but alas.

The favourite in question was, of course, gorgeous, but actually died at a fairly young age by today's standard and the emperor was quite upset by his death. Enough that he commissioned a bust.

    That's all I can remember.

  • Sabrina's Law (Canadian Law and Medication)?

Under Sabrina's Law, I understand, if a minor refuses medication, such as an epi pen while they are having an allergic reaction, an adult can take charge, act as their guardian, and give them the epi pen.

That is all well and good, but what if I am 16 (thus under eighteen) and babysitting (the parents are gone, I was as the child's guardian) and the child is having an allergic reaction and refusing treatment?

Because the parents gave me responsibility of the child, do I have the right to give them medication? Or is it that because I am under 18 I have not yet reached the legal age to take such a responsibility?

An answer with some kind of proof would be wonderful as this is an important question to me. I work with kids often (babysitting, camps, etc) but am not yet eighteen (and won't be for over a year).

  • Yuki (Fruits Basket) Plush doll: WANTED?

So, I have just returned from Anime North where I failed to acquire a Yuki push doll larger than the one I already have.

I have a Yuki rat form 6 inch. I want something bigger. I have been to the Pacific Mall and there was none to be had (although there was Kyo, but I don't want Kyo).

If anymore could tell me of a place (in Ontario, preferably Toronto) or website which sells Yuki dolls that are larger than, say, 7 inches PLEASE tell me.

Honestly, I was so upset when I was unable to hug my Yuki plush since no one was selling. Cost is NOT an issue here. (Seriously, I want this doll.)

  • Censorship In Anime / Manga?

This is an opinion question! Yay!

I'd like to know the opinion of anime and manga fans on censorship in their shows and books.

Please keep in mind that spelling is cool. And I would love to hear intelligent opinions (not just "I hate it").

  • Am I totally insane?

    umm... how to start?

well, a few months ago I started... 'knowing' things. What was going to happen later that day kind of things....

At first I wasn't always right, but within the last month I've almost always gotten it right (ex: today).

At first I thought it was all just lucky guesses but now I don't know what to believe. It's kind of creepy. Sometimes I think of just telling someone and getting myself committed, but that would suck major time.

What do you think? Am I totally insane?

  • Song from 2004?

I don't remember the tune (I'm so sorry), but it was about this guy leaving this girl to go somewhere.

It played over & over again on the radio.

The corus mentions "until dawn" or "until morning" a lot.

    (I'm sorry I don't have more information.)

  • What does this mean? "Tunnels no Minasan no Okage Deshita" (Japanese)?

It's the name of a Japanese tv show I adore.

But it is Japanese, and therefore I understand nothing of what they say. (Although you don't need to understand the language to understand the show since it's a game show.)

    The name in question:

Tunnels no Minasan no Okage Deshita

PS: I really hope it isn't rude...

  • Hair Dying?

I have brown hair and light brown eyebrows. (Very light. Some would consider blonde.)

And I feel like dying my hair.

I've wanted to dye my hair for a while, but I've never been able to think of a colour and product.

    Any ideas?

I don't want it to look weird or any odd colours (such as pink)...

  • Holiday In Quebec?

I'm wondering if Victoria Day is a holiday in Quebec.

I've done a little reseach and I've asked a friend of mine who lives in Quebec, but I won't get a reply for a while and I have yahoo points to waste.

If you find a website on the subject, please let me know what it is, because I wouldn't mind reading about it.
