4 AnswersPorsche4 years agoPorsche Brake problem. Help Please...?
Took my 1987 911 for it's MOT today and on the way back I noticed the brakes were 'dragging'. Both rear rotors (discs) were steaming hot and there was brake dust around the wheels. After about 15 mins the brakes were free again but after only about a mile or so they were 'tight' again. The car has had little use for about 3 months. Fronts are fine and it's not the handbrake.
Any ideas would be appreciated !
3 AnswersPorsche4 years agoNo spare wheel fitted to many new cars....Crazy idea ?
I split a tyre after hitting a kerb late one Saturday afternoon 50 miles from home. No spare tyre. I had to arrange a lift home, car was recovered to dealer and new tyre fitted Tuesday and car returned home. Much wasted time, 100 mile round trip to collect me and 3 days without a car...........All because Car manufacturers have now decided not to fit a spare wheel !! Where is the wisdom in this ??
9 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs4 years agoQuestion about London underground trains please.?
Was on a newish underground train in London today.
There is a pressure gauge visible in the carriage near the 'join' where the train articulates. It is graded 0-10 bar, obviously a mesure of 'pressure'. It seems to read zero with the train moving rising to about 4 when stationary.
Can anyone tell what this gunge relates to and what it is measuring?
Thank you.
7 AnswersRail4 years agoAdblue far Diesel engines. advice please?
My Mercedes C250 Diesel (2016) is giving me the message "Re-fil Adblue".
Simple enough, but my question is...Is 'Adblue' just...'Adblue' ? or are there various grades and specifications. I have seen it in accessory shops but I don't want to add the wrong stuff !
Thank you.

You are able to take your car for its test up to a month before the 'Due date'. If you do so and it 'fails', can you still legally drive it until the original due date ?
4 AnswersInsurance & Registration5 years agoExtra stamp duty on landlords buying investment properties unfair ?
A recent increase on stamp duty for landlords seems very shortsighted. As so much 'social housing' is now provided by Private Landlords.....If they have to pay more for the properties in the first place they will require higher rents to justify their investments.
2 AnswersRenting & Real Estate5 years agoRestoring old Ford Transit. Can't get engine to start. Any ideas please ?
Friend is restoring 1976 Transit Diesel. Dry stored and in excellent condition.
Re-conditioned injectors, clean fuel. Engine turns over valve-gear working (belt intact). Compression, fuel at injectors, no air in system engine turning over with new battery. Apparently no heater plugs on this engine (2.4). Tried eze-start just 'coughs' but will not actually start. At wits end....!
Any ideas please.........??
2 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation5 years agoRape and child abuse 'Rife' in Refugee camps?
A doctor working with an aid agency working at Calais and other camps has reported widespread sexual child abuse and rape within the camps. Given the desperate situations with so-say cold and hunger, is it not incomprehensible that they are 'Raping and abusing' each others kids...?? Is this a sample of the 'Multiculturalism' the EU are so keen to force upon us ?
