The problem ... is a Court may impose 6 points for this offence. ... will take me to 12 points which may lead to a 6 month totting up ban. If you can convince the Court to impose only 5 points, that risk will be avoided completely. Our suggestion is that you should try to deal with the matter by letter and use that as an opportunity to convince the Court that 5 points is adequate.

2 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police1 decade ago'Patent Law'? Any Help in the House?
I thought I had an invention. I searched espacenet and found that the device was already under patent application in 1983. The INPADOC Status of the patent today says:
PRS Date : 1983/08/10
PRS Code : WAP
Code Expl.: - APPLICATION WITHDRAWN, TAKEN TO BE WITHDRAWN OR REFUSED ** AFTER PUBLICATION UNDER SECTION 16(1)
Just wondered what the above legal jargon translates to in plain English... Are there any inventors in the house who can share patenting experiences? Im in the UK so this might make a difference to an explanation.
All replies welcome!
