  • Prince Fans.  Sign Of The Times Deluxe?

Hi, anybody heard the remastered version of 'Sign Of The Times' yet?  Just got it at the weekend and am blown away by it!  Bought it on vinyl when it came out in 87 and loved it but when I purchased the cd in the 90's the sound was just awful, quiet and just dull but this new version is incredible, on some tracks it sounds like he's in the room with you and the bonus tracks are a revelation.  Not a huge fan of deluxe reissues but these Prince ones are outstanding.

  • Mazda Premacy I-Stop Issue?

Hi I have a 2010 Mazda Premacy and over that last day or so the I-Stop icon on the dashboard is flashing amber.  The car seems to be running fine.  Any ideas?

  • Reissues.  Opinions?

So we are coming up to Xmas and the classic album reissues are already upon us.  The Stones put out 'Goats Head Soup' last week, next week is Prince and U2 are giving 'All That You Can't Leave Behind' the box set treatment next month.

What do you think of these legacy albums constantly getting repackaged every 10 or 20 years, buying them all over again just to get a few bonus tracks?

    Just curious.  Thanx!

  • Life In The UK Right Now?

Hi, I'm wanting to move back to the UK and wondering if this is possible or advisable right now.  I'm being forced to sell my house in New Zealand and to be honest it's the last straw for me and this country, have been wanting out for a while.

I'm a British Citizen and would have enough money to buy a house but am wondering about border restrictions, covid cases and unemployment?  I don't want to live off my savings.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.

  • Save The Best For Last?

What's a favourite song of yours that you wish would go on forever because the end/fade out is the best part?  Maybe it takes an unexpected twist or just has that killer chorus.

My pick is The Carpenters - 'Goodbye To Love', starts out like a show tune ballad and ends with a killer guitar solo and vocal harmony heaven, the last 60 seconds justifying their place in musical history.

  • Slow Burners?

Which Album took you the longest time to get into?  Mine I'll be honest was 'Kid A',  I didn't hate it but couldn't see what everyone was raving about and now it's probably my favourite Radiohead album.

    How about you?

  • Name An Album That Deserves More Love?

What's a favourite album of yours that nobody else seems to get.

My vote is Radiohead's 'Pablo Honey' that seems to have been Ret-Conned into being some warm up jam for the band that nobody at the time bought or liked.  I bought it when it came out in 93 loved it then and still love it.
