So this girl has had a crush on me for like a year now, and I keep turning her down. Now I have a crush on her best friend, so I asked her out, and she said yes, but after we figure out her best friend's situation. What should we do? How should we tell her?

I know in most cases, and what I have always used, is just switching the pluses for minuses and minuses for pluses. But the answer that I have for this is 7+ 3sqrt(3) + sqrt(5) + 2sqrt(15) / 11.
Does anyone have an idea how this answer is formed?

I have drum major auditions coming up soon. My director gave me the score to the song I'm conducting and a recording. It switches time signatures like crazy, but there is this reprise it goes back to 5/4, but it is like twice as fast as it was the first time. At least 216 bpm. Is there an alternate way of conucting in 5, besides the 4 pattern with an extra cut to the middle? Thanks.
