  • How long after treatment will the fleas die on a kitten?

My family and I are new to the pet owning world! We received two 7 wk old kittens that were supposedly treated for fleas and worms. Once we got them, we realized they do have fleas and possibly worms. We have not brought them into our house because we do not want it to get infested and have a bigger mess to clean up. We bathed them with Dawn outside in a bucket and went to the pet store and bought PurrScriptions 5 way protection Squeeze-On and gave each of them half a container as recommended by our vet. How long after treatment will they be free of fleas? How soon after treatment can I give them a bath to clean off the dead fleas? I know they don't have much cause you only see a flea every once and awhile. I just want to make sure they get treated and can come inside from being secluded in a blocked off cage outside. I have checked their poop and it does not have white grains as my vet said it would for worms. Is there another type of worm they could get and how do I know and treat that?

  • How to clean a window AC unit?

I have two really big and nice Window AC Units. Last summer we had yellow jackets that got in both of them and we sprayed the units with insect repellent which I know is flammable. I am wondering if there is a way to open and clean them so we can reuse them? I know they get really hot but I don't know if it would be ok to use them without cleaning them out first or if that is even necessary. Please site articles if possible

  • Cost of items in the USA in the 2009...?

I am writing a journal entry in a book that will travel the world. I looked for a Remember when book with little luck of what items are priced at in this year. So I am asking for suggestions and costs of interesting items....i.e. Milk=$2.99 Gas= $2.01. And I asked in parenting thinking parents would have a better idea of general costs of items.

  • If we as a business own a van and give it to another for use in their business...?

We are a church who loans our van out to a daycare. Laws have just changed saying that "vehicles used by contractors for transporting children for routine trips or field trips have to do (insert all inspections and such). Would the church be considered a contractor for lending out our van? Would we have to do all the scheduled safety checks? And would we be held liable should something happen and injury occur to the children?

  • Am I using him or he just a bit to much?

I am just getting back into dating. I am an older women with 2 children and recently starting dating a much much younger man. He is very caught up on me and calls and texts all the time. I felt like it was moving fast than what I was ready for and told him this. I ended up having a bad day and calling and hanging out with him. He ended up surprising me with a very expensive ( $250) gift. I didn't feel right taking it and gave it back to him. He ended up returning it to the backseat of my car without my knowledge. I don't know where he lives so can't return it that way but I really think we need to slow down and take a few steps back. How do I tell him that or should I just ignore him?

  • Should I try or give up!?!?!?

I have had reoccurring cervical cancer 4 times now. It is now here again and my doctor wants me to get a hysterectomy. He says my chances of carrying a child full term are slim. So my question is this...should I attempt to get pregnant one last time or should I have my hysterectomy and just be grateful for the 2 sons that I already have? Adoption is out of the question because my husband won't even consider it.

  • 2005 Malibu Maxx rear wiper?

How do I replace the rear wiper on a 2005 Malibu Maxx? It came with nothing on it and even a blade replacement doesn't seem to work. I also can't figure out how to get the holder off to see if there is some trick. And for all those geniuses that are going to tell me to look in the manual...thought of that but I don't have one! Thanks

  • 2006 Ford Freestar good van?

I am getting ready to purchase a 2006 Ford Freestar this afternoon. I love the way it handles and all of the options, it still has the factory warranty, and all the room I need. My question is if its a good car. Most people down grade it but I have not heard of any problems with them. According to Car & Driver, Ford is the new Honda...is it true? Worth an investment of $9000. Thanks!!

  • How do I make him commit?

My boyfriend and I have been dating over 3 years now. We have a one year old son, house, car payments...it all. But I am ready for the commitment of getting married. He on the other hand says he wants to wait until he is done with school but that is another 5 years. I work and pay all the bills on my own while he goes to school full time. I don't think its asking to much for him to make a commitment since I am putting so into our future. I have done ultimatuims, I have even went as far as setting up a cute surprise and asking him myself!!! He shot me down and told me that he had to ask me because people wouldn't accept a woman asking a man. I could care less! I just want to settle down already.

Is it time for me to go or just hang around until whenever he feels like it? Please advise!!!
