I work for certain company and I was not hired for software developer/engineer. It is not in my job description to create such a work. However, my employer requested me to create several programs that company will be using and we had several meetings how they want this to be made. After bunch of meetings, I created the program and entire source code have been written by me 100%. There was no paperwork to sign nor did they create document for ownership of the software I created. Anyway, I am leaving the company now and they requested source code for programs I wrote saying it is company property, not mine. Can they do that? Are they really legal owner of these programs I wrote? I would understand if someone from the company who wrote codes with me but these codes are 100% written by me and every testing steps are done by me. It even took me countless hours my own time to create it. When company requested for it, I said I would leave installation file but I wouldn't hand over source code I worked so hard for. Who is the owner of these programs I wrote in this case? Is it me or the company? There is no written rules or statement anywhere in company that they can take ownership of the program in their policy.

I am trying to rent an apartment next month and I've been looking at online for a while now. It says I would need credit score of 620+ and source of income to rent an apartment. But how long does credit score needs to be 620+ to rent an apartment? I currently have credit score range between 680 to 720 depends on company(fico, transunion) but my credit score was ruined for 6 months or something last year due to some work issues(It was 572 lowest and it took me 6 months or something to recover and my credit score has been 670+ for past 6 months). I am moving to Georgia and I already got hired(around 45k an year). Do these incomes count too if I just got hired at that state?

I used calculator here https://www.paycheckcity.com/calculator/salary/ and it says my salary should be $50,000 an year if I want to earn $3000 a month after tax. Is this correct? Do government collect this much tax for single 36 years old guy?

Few weeks ago, recruiting company asked me if I am interested in certain job and asked me to send them an updated resume, so I did. Few days later, I was contacted by recruiting company that the company wants to do skype interview with me, so I did. I don't think it went so well but they contacted me again and told me HR manager is coming to my state for business purpose and wants to do in person interview. So I did interview with him and one other person. They asked me how do you think my first skype interview with them go and I told them I don't think it went well. Then, they told me, why do I think it didn't go well if I am getting a second interview. Anyway, HR manager and the person who had higher position than him gave me very positive response and told me their only concern is if their company is not able to fulfill my future goal. Interview went pretty well and now they are sending me plane ticket to perform on-site interview which is out of my state. What do you think my chance of getting this job? I suppose my chances are pretty good as long as I don't screw up on-site interview, right? They did say they had other candidate they have to interview during first skype interview but HR manager and the other person didn't say anything about it during second in person interview and told me see you soon.

I am looking for sterling silver screw-back earring post parts for repairs. I searched everywhere but I can only find replacement back piece, not the post. There were stores selling screw-back earring post but they only had gold ones, not sterling silver. Where can I find that part? My local jewelry part shop stopped carrying them so I am clueless to find one now.

I had an interview today and this job requires DoD security Clearance. I've been in college for past 4 years so I couldn't work full time and wasn't making enough money with part time. I was on 15k debt in 3 years. I applied for debt settlement but later I found out I practically have to destroy my credit score to make this work. So i cancelled debt settlement plan and worked my way. Now I reduce my debt to $4000 but my once 750 credit score is ruined and I am at 640 now. Lowest I hit was 570 after not making payment for almost 3 months straight before I notice sudden decrease in my credit score(damn those debt settlement company never told me about this). Anyway, I am expecting to recover my credit score to 700+ in next 6 months or so. Would this be a problem to get DoD security clearance? I read the form and it says to check if I haven't made payment for 180+ days. I am kinda worried.

I am 35, single, have zero traffic point, no accident. I was paying $100 a month but now my insurance price is like almost doubled. I called insurance company many times but the lady who works there couldn't figure out the reason. She said she will call me back and never did. All email questions are ignored. It's farm bureau insurance btw. I was thinking it might be credit score because my credit score went down to under 660 due to some personal matter but even when I had credit score 750+, 1.5 years ago, My insurance was going up from 100 to 140 then 160 and now 180+. What is going on here? Should I just change insurance company?

35 years old, Just got IT bachelor degree and comptia A+ cert. No experience in IT field. Got enough pc building experience.

Today, I got job offer for help desk for $13 an hour and told it was long term contract(2020) but I will have a chance to get promotion if I do good. I don't mind doing the work for only $13 for an year or so, so I can build my experience for higher jobs. What concerns me is long term contract. That means they could just make me stuck at that job for $13 an hour for next 4 years without promotion. Is it worth it? If I was like 25 years old, I wouldn't mind but at my age, I can't really afford to waste 4 years.

I have a small store inside mall and I am trying to install toilet and water sink. The problem is, there's no sewer or water line I can see inside my store. The mall manager told me I have to get permission from general manager if I want to install toilet and sink so I am going to meet him soon.

My question is, how much would it cost for me install toilet and water sink there? From what I saw from homedepot, toilet and sink prices were about $100-$300 each. So I am expecting around $400 for both and I am expecting $1000-1500 for installation fee. But are these installation fee including sewer and water line installation price too or just plain installation of toilet and sink without sewer and water line?

I also heard there is incineration toilet that doesn't require sewer line. Is it true?

My tuition + book cost is about $20000 an year. I am in junior in university and I am getting pell grant that covers about $5600 an year. What kind of grant can I get and where do I find them? I went financial aid office but they only had booklets for loans, not actual grant. I am getting about 3.2 gpa point and some scholarships are available for me but it missed due date for summer classes. What kind of other grant can I look for from fall semester?

My acura dealer told me it costs me $925 to fix timing chain and detentioner. Am I getting ripped off from this place? Last month, they told me I need new tires and they quoted $900 while belle tire offered exact same tires for $370.

Problem with my car(tsx, 2006) is that it sudden stopped working last night. I own 2006 acura tsx and I only have 65000 miles on it and never had any accident. Today, I went to gym to work out and as I got out of gym, it suddenly didn't start. I tried to jump start with jump cable but it still didn't work. It just makes clicking noise and I get emission light on.
