Is there a place or public allowed area where children are allowed to pan for gold and gemstones in West yellowstone or near areas? This is in hopes of planning a fun week for my children while we are in West yellowstone late June. Any other fun activities for a family, kids 13 and 9 that can be shared will be greatly appreciated. Thank you kindly.

I love clothing! I love shoes and boots, but no idea what to put together to look good, not frumpy.. I avoid footwear shopping because I have no idea what to match up with skirts or slacks.. I love the boots with mid to longer skirts look but can't find the right matches, want to wear silk scarves with sweaters and slacks, want to match up heels with outfits. I am 35 and go from casual play, home to public meetings. I have my own business no there is no pressure, but honestly after trying on all the outfits, nothing looks good or I feel as if I just stumbled out of grandma's closet on the way to hold up Goodwill.. I have a petite figure so finding clothing is easy enough, but I get frustrated when trying to match things up.. I love sweaters and blouses and jewelry and really want to bring out my "feminine, sofisticated, well put togehter side" again instead of giving up and hiding behind the usual jeans and baggy sweatshirts. Any suggestions on a good website for pulling together fashions? For now I avoid buying footwear. Thank you much!

My late grandmother wrote 40 years of her own songs and lyrics, she always sang for family and friends. She never played any instruments. She has been gone now for over 4 years, she is greatly missed. Recently my mother found "grandma's" music book, this was very hard for my mother as she was very close to her mother. My grandmother loved to sing, she sang many of her favorites to us so we all know well the tune she made chose for them. My son and I want to place these songs, lyrics to music and sing them for my mother, as well as pass them on and keep them in the family to honor grandma "She was an amazing woman" We have had a hard time trying to find the right music, notes to put to the lyrics.. My son and I both play acoustic guitar, thanks to grandma she left me with the gift of voice.. Any suggestions on some books or programs that can help us put it all togher? We want to get many of them together by next Spring for a family reunion.. Thank you for your thoughts, ideas and consideration..

My prayers to all those effected by all the recent hurricanes and those about to be effected.. My mother, brothers and in-laws live in Rockport Texas, their home is on the waterfront. My family informed me today they were evacuating.. I worry about their home as it is all they have, everything material and comfort to my mother.. I know material is nothing as long as family is safe.. I am very worried about the path of the hurricane and the outer effects it will have on Rockport.. I have been flipping through television channels for the last 24 hours and find very little coverage on the hurricane updates, CNN seems best but has a lot of political news. Normally I watch very little television and now am at a loss as to a good news station to "keep on with constant or more coverage than politics.. I have basic Comcast so not sure if I get all the channels. Please if you can suggest any television stations or websites that I can keep updated on I would appreciate it greatly. Updates about traffic exiting the areas would be appreciated as well, as my mother I fear may become stuck in the traffic flow leaving and not be able to take proper shelter should the winds or hurricane path change course. I know I sound like a worry, drama queen, which I am not.. I am very worried about my family "as they have not called since they were preparing to evacuate or seem to have any phone service at this time" I am very worried about her home and property as well, as I am understanding that the ocean surge could be up to 50 feet and with heavy winds will cause a great loss to them. Rockport Texas on the top point if any have any input.. Thank you..

We have a bird nest, just built over the last month and in the last week it looks completed as it is now a round mud nest with a small hole at front, mom and dad and as far as we can tell only one chick, that recently has learned to fly into our backyard are the only ones in it. My husband has been wanting to knock it down because it is attached to the underside of our roof and the mess from the birds is all over the back deck and barbecue. Our children and I have talked him out of it until the babies are grown and the family has moved out so not to hurt or leave them homeless.. What is a good indication they have moved out or a good season to bring the nest down. I think they are robins? Thank you ahead of time!

A dear friend of my childhood, She was the neighborhood motherly woman, had a hard farm life, stayed home to raise three sons and many phoster children. her husband was not very loving or supportive of her. She was very caring of all, VERY outspoken!!! Most people did not appreciate her or befriend her because she was very outspoken. She had a strong faith in God through all the years. She took in my sister and I part time, she clothed us, taught us a love for animals and hard work, took us to church several times a week and stepped in to set our parents straight when needed. Around my teen years I moved away and lost touch with her, now 30 years later I have found her again and want to thank her. She still holds strong to her faith in God, I on the other hand never kept on with church but by no means do I disagree with it. I want to send her a perfect gift box of THANK YOU. Any suggestions that she will like and not be offended by but will make her feel special, loved? Thank you

My husband and I are working on scale model cars.. He is starting a 1968 Firebird model. We have been searching the net for images of under the hood so we can fine detail and wire the engine. We have a one year old female cat, that has been with us since she was a kitten. She is an inside cat; has plenty of toys, climb on toys, scratching posts. Our children are very good to her, never mean or rough. No recent changes in her diet or activities So lately she has been getting very mean in her acting She use to love climbing on our laps or beside us to cuddle, always trying to get attention. We try to reach out to pet her and she swats, scratches,holds your hands and does the rabbit kicking thin even bites! I have tried to scold her but she fights back and won't back down At times she has what seems like stalked us, picks a fight and will fight meanly not playful. We are covered in scratches and are patience is shot! We are all rather frightened of this We are worried to approuch her because she can seem ok but the moment you pet her she attacks. The only time she is nice is when she cuddles up with us in bed at night.. Any good tricks to make her stop? HELP PLEASE!

We are planning on camping at the end of June (tents) two adults two children... We have checked into some National park camping, but they charge $15-$80 to enter the forest for only 7 days or year membership and then charge again up to $20.00 a night for a tent sight. You are then placed in a sight of their choice... Also due to heavy rains last Fall, many of the popular attractions in these camping areas are off limits or heavily damaged. We don't want to pay a lot just to enter the park then get stuck in some undesireable camp sight. We normally are very outgoing and content, very easy to please but under these circumstances we feel poorly. Now we are seeking a free or cheap, family camping area in the mid to NW Washington state area that won't require us to pay the price of The Hilton and offer us over crowding and lacking things for young children to do. With the price of gas this Summer my family won't be planning any out of state road trips to visit relatives. Because we live in Washington state (3 years now) and have not been out much to enjoy it we have planned a Summer of family camping trips. My husband and I have two children (Girl 10 and Boy 6) We really want to make it a great Summer for the family! We plan to camp the Forest, Lakes and Ocean Beaches.... Any suggestion for some fun outdoor activities to bring along or do while out camping? Aside from hiking, swimming... Something entertaining we can mix with the normal camping fun.. I have been trying to find the name of a movie I think was on Lifetime? It is about a teenage girl (60's settings) Who became pregnant by her first boyfriend. Her parents find out and hide her away from him, and the community in secret to hide her pregnancy. They tell her friends she is going off to a private school, meanwhile her boyfriend is turned away from the door and told she would not be seeing him again.. He is unaware of the pregnancy. She stays in a home for pregnant teen girls until she gives birth and the baby boy is adopted out. The boyfriend has moved on and married another girl from the highschool. The girl grows up and 20+years later with older daughter and she is engaged to be married (not a perfect match) she is given the chance to meet her now grown son, who is a preacher and expecting his first child. The woman meets her son and the son then searches for his father, truth comes out and his birth parents get back together. Thank you ahead of time!
