  • In San Diego, where can I park to take a 15 to 15 min trolley ride to Balboa Park, near the model train museum?

On our last day in San Diego we though it would be nice to take our 3 and 5 year old boys on a trolley ride to Balboa Park. Is there somewhere we can park our rental car and take a trolley towards to model train museum and back? Running out of time for all the research! :) Thanks

  • Will buying file recover software be better than the free internet download file recovery software?

I lost (somehow completely deleted -from the recycling bin too) my 2009 photos folder. All holidays, trips, and birth of my son....gone! I downloaded some free file recovery software and ran it. It recovered about 30% of my photos. I was going to buy DT Utilities Digital Rescue Premium. Will it do a better job or are all file recovery programs the same?

  • We have a 12 hour flight to Japan coming up, Can I take snacks like fruit cups and applesauce through security?

I know I can purchase snacks after the security check point and take them on board but that can get expensive. I'm traveling with my 18 month old... Will I be able to take liquid type snacks? Applesauce, Pudding cups, etc.. I know they allow milk for kids but what about juice??

    Thank you!

  • Where can I find cheap flights to Japan?

I've looked all over the internet, the cheapest I found (including taxes and fees) was about $1300.00 per person. I googled ATI International and found that. I'm not sure how reputable they are. It will be 4 adults and one 1 year old to Tokyo, specifiacally Narita International Airport on July 28th from Las Vegas (home) or LA (we'll drive if is a big price difference) Coming back August 4 or 10th. Any advice? Should we wait until it gets closer to July? I just don't want to prices to go higher. I tried JAL airlines and I just don't understand their website. Newbie international traveler needs advice!! :)

  • Do you know how much pearl earrings are from Sea World San Deigo?

I was wondering how much they cost. I went there just last week and looked at the "Pearls inside the shell" ones that you have to set into jewelry yourself, they were 14.99 each. I thought they were cheap and forgot to look at the actual jewlery pearls. I want to get them for my cousin, for her wedding, she always thought they were beautiful but are they real pearls? So do you know how much a set of blue pearl earrings are from there and what do you think of the quality?

  • San Diego locals: What is the best authentic Mexican restaurant in town? Best Margarita?

I was recommended El Callejon but I think that's a little out of the way. We will be in San Deigo 2 miles from Sea World. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Also side note: Any asian/pacific rim restaurants that you recommend? We're looking for original restaurants...

  • Do you have to pay parking at Six Flags Magic Mountain?

$15 is pretty steep to park your car, I was wondering if there are any other places in walking distance you can park or if there was a complementry shuttle from somewhere else. Thank You!

  • Why am I only getting $453 for my ecomonic stimulus payment? If my annual gross income is only $37,050?

I've tried to call and the irs says they won't answer my questions until June (thats what the automated answer machine said) and the only think I read on IRS.GOV is that the payment will be reduced after $75,000 AGI. I filed a 1040 and everything was pretty straight forward. I have no exemptions and I own my home with an interest only loan, thats the only thing special on my taxes. My gf made about $33,000 and she's getting $600 back. I just want to make sure this amount is correct, it is free money after all.

  • Do anyone have an idea of what Front Desk agents on the Las Vegas strip start their hourly wage at?

I was just wondering as I recently moved to Las Vegas and would like to have an idea about these jobs before I begin the job hunting process just to find out I'd be making less than I am now. I know this is a little taboo, just wondering if anyone knows anonymously. Thank You!!

  • Has anyone ever worked at the Venetian Front Desk in Las Vegas?

I was thinking about moving up in the world as far as front desk work goes, I currently work at a locals hotel/casino making a fairly good rate. The thing I hate about job hunting is that you don't know your salary or hourly rate until the interview process. I hate to go through all that to find out I would be making less...the bottom line is supporting my family and thats pretty much number one. Any help would be appreciated or if you know of any other front desk positions and the wage they make. Thank You!!!
