I just graduated grade 8. There's a guy in grade 7 who I do NOT like at all, who kept throwing a basketbal at me, telling me to shoot. He asked out 5 girls this year, and one said yes. He's not the player type, he actually likes all the girls he asks out, and none of his relationships lasted.

We found out that we were going to same camp together, and we hung out. Next year I'll be going to high school while he stays back. All of a sudden, he tells me he really likes me, alwyas opens doors for me, and asks me out. I told I'm I'd think about it, because I was just really surprised and shocked. And it so happens that he'd been liking me while dating that girl, for the entire year.

He kept pounding me about going out with him, and he was so nice, so I finally said we'd go on one double date with my best friend and her boyfriend. Both of those two know how I feel about the guy. I only said yes because I told him so many times before that I just didn't like him, that I just didn't want to go out with him, and he'd keep telling me that I was different, that I was special and that he wasn't going to give up. I'm going on the date so I can set the record straight.

But he talked to my best friend and told her that he has no plans of taking no for an answer. He'd going to buy me a necklace of some sort, chocolate and flowers.

I don't like this guy at all, in fact he's very awkward in all the wrong ways, he creeps me out a lot and asks too many innappropriate questions. How do I tell him that it's not going to work? I've told hi mthat my parents don't want me to datee, that he's too young, that I don't want a boyfriend in high school, and that I like someone.

He responds by saying that he's in love with me, that he's never going to give up, and that we can date during the summer while my mom works.

I don't want to break his heart or ruin our friendship, but I'm tired of him calling me every day asking me if I'm ok, asking me out, asking me if I'd fallen for him yet. I respond to be nice, but I've never told him that I like him. I always tell him that it's not going to happen, but now with this upcoming "date" I'm getting worried about what he's going to do or say to me.

I'm not embarrassed at all by him. I just don't like him, and he's creeping me out.

I'm trying to find the nth term, but I have no idea how because there isn't a common difference. Can someone please help me?

Is there a formula or something?
