I'm researching an engine combo for my 72 Chevelle. I understand any year 454 engine will work. what 454 is best. early or late model. what year did they begin using factory hyd roller?

Looking to put a BB in my chevelle. I'm not trying to lose an arm and a legg so i will be junk yard shopping.

what year chevy p/u trucks have the BB with mech fuel pump. should i be concerned with tall deck BB's. I'm planning on a complete engine so i can reuse all the stock brackets and pullies if possible thanks guys. not concerned with the peanut heads, i will be using after market. i plan on using an M22 muncie( if i can find one)

I always see people here complaining about how much money the rich make and how they ae greedy and should be taxed more and more. people even seem hateful towards the rich, but why? they are productive members of society who contribute in the form of taxes. shouldn't we turn our attention to the poor/lazy. they take but do not contribute to our society, yet they always seem to cry and complain the gov isn't doing enough for them

i see liberals complaining already, why are you attacking the poor? in this modern society anyone with a little ambition and hard work can be in the middle class. if you are poor you choose to be poor.

by the way, i am not rich, i was raised by poor immigrant parents, who like me also found there way to the middle class through hard work

Alright you've made your presidential choice now, but surely you don't agree with your candidates on the issue 100%. I'm Voting McCain, however there are a few issues i don't agree with, like his stance on Buying up bad mortgages and his stance on Iraq. I've looked at Obama's Platform and something just doesn't smell right, and its not his swisher sweets. What are some issues you don't agree with about about your candidate, and don't tell me you agree with your candidate 100%.

Obama signed a bill that sends $845 billion overseas for global poverty. With our screwed up economy he had the audacity to say, and i Quote:

"The bill, called the Global Poverty Act, is the type of legislation, "We can – and must – make … a priority,"

Isnt our own counrty a priority over another? How do you feel about your money going overseas?

First, i'm not rich, and neither are my parents, I'm 23 and bust my *** working to pay my mortgage. my parents were immigrants who came to the u.s. with their shirts on their backs. They worked hard and made it into the middle class without ever collecting welfare. If my (poor) family pulled through w/o welfare why cant all the others do the same? after all, generally all (poor) people are afforded the same opportunities to Excel.

I always hear people complaining about medicare, jobs, education, ect. Don't get me wrong, these are all legitimate issues, however why do people believe the federal government should have to fix it all. It doesn't say anywhere in the constitution that the government has to give you anything. According to the constitution taxes are to support the BASIC operations of government, not "programs". What ever happened to original intent. Our founding fathers must be turning in their graves.

I have seen many people get burned with child support, don't get me wrong, if you have a child you should take responsibility. But i don't agree with handing out your money and hoping it goes to your child, and not your lowlife husband or wife. There should be more accountability, as far as proving your hard earned cash goes to your kids, after all it is "child support", "not husband or wife support"?
