  • How can I upgrade twice in 6 months with AT&T?

I currently have an iPhone 3GS on AT&T, I want an iPhone 4 (Im upgrade eligible in 2 weeks), but also want the iPhone 5 when it comes out in June/July. I plan to stay on AT&T, and keep my same number.... How can I finagle AT&T into getting what I want... Other that threatening to go to Verizon...(empty threat, not an option, I have to have voice and data simultaneous) Any advice would be appreciated!

  • I wiped my hard drive and need step by step info on how to get it back to a decent default condition?

I am working with an older dell laptop (700 MHz, 384 RAM). It had viruses that I could not get rid of so I wiped the hard drive and installed a fresh version of windows (I couldn't restore it) This is a pet project to see if I can get it back up to level I had it at before, since I have another laptop and PC. I installed Windows Media Center with service pack 2, but I am missing a lot of stuff like the the network connections and Installshield first and foremost , Internet Explorer etc. Installshied seems to be the biggest problem. I cannot install anything since the (ikernel.exe) is missing. I need to know how to set up my basic Ethernet connections so I can get onto Windows Update. Also will I need drivers from Dell themselves? Please note I am not trying to spend any money on software. I need the "resourceful people" on this. If your answer is something you don't want to put in a public forum email me direct. All others need not answer. So no "Go to Best Buy, Circuit City, Fry's, and buy X Y&Z", or "It's not right to pirate software, blah, blah, blah." Please list include links in your answers whenever possible.

  • How do I delete Hkey registry data manually?

My laptop is infected by some really malicious crap! I ran max secure spyware detector and found 900+ signatures. I was able to get rid of all the program files, now I'm at 642 and whats left are hkey registry key values. I cant even get an internet connection to update or activate some of the programs I bought, with either my wireless card or with ethernet cord. I am able to connect ot the acess point, but the internet cant be found. My PC is able to connect. I tried adaware but it found nothing. Is there a way to hook my laptop to my PC to scan it or copy certain program files in their entirety?
