I think Public Enemy is the greatest Hip-Hop group of all-time because of their longevity,Great Discography, Influence, Innovation & Great Live Performances.

Public Enemy have now been together for 31 years since their formation in 1982 and have one of the best discographies in Hip-Hop, their first six albums with Def Jam are all great. It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, Fear of a Black Planet & Apocalypse 91... The Enemy Strikes Black are all classics. Some of their post Def Jam albums have been a bit Average.However their three latest releases How You Sell Soul to a Soulless People Who Sold Their Soul?, Most of My Heroes Still Don't Appear on No Stamp & The Evil Empire of Everything have all been great and a return to form.

They have also been one of the most innovative groups ever in Hip-Hop by helping to develop the sound of Political & Conscious Hip-Hop as well as contribute to the further development of Hardcore Hip-Hop & pioneering of new productions techniques and the fusion Sub-genres of Rap-Rock and Rap metal.

Their Influence on Hip-Hop and the wider world is also one of the greatest having paved the way for almost every Hardcore, Political, Conscious & Rap-Rock MC since. Legends such as Nas, Ice Cube, 2Pac & Common all call Public Enemy one of their key influences.

Public Enemy are also widely considered one of the best live acts in Hip-Hop History.

Because of all these factors I believe Public Enemy are indisputably the greatest Hip-Hop Group of All-time.
