7 AnswersPolitics5 years agoMicrosoft doesn't recognize a new video card needed for Windows 10 Update. How can I fix this.?
Tried to update from Windows 7 to 10. Received the message my NVIDIA GeForce 7300SE/7200GS wasn't compatible with Windows 10. Replaced old video card with a new NVIDIA GeForce 210. Device Manager recognizes this new video card and the old video card doesn't show. However, MS is still saying my computer can't be upgraded to Windows 10 because it's still seeing the old video card. What is the workaround?
1 AnswerSoftware5 years agoMicrosoft indicated I needed a better video card in order to install Windows 10. Updated video card ( GeForce 210 ).?
Windows updated to current drivers with no problem. Old video card doesn't show in the Device Manager. When I attempt to download Windows 10, I still get the indication that my video card can't handle Windows 10 and lists the old GeForce 7300SE/7200GS as being the problem. The new video card shows up in the Device Manager as well as on my Belarc Advisor program. How to get this corrected so I can get Windows 10?
