....How do I clean A fish tank's glass!?!?!?!.....?
I have an old 10 gallon fish tank that I wiped down with a damp cloth, but the glass of the tank is still...cloudy? It looks foggy as if you breathed on it (like on a cold day, when you look out the window real close and when you step back there is a spot of fog where you were breathing. Ya' know.?) Yeah well it looks like that. How do I get this off the walls? I tried wiping it down with water and a damp towel and it works for a few mintues, but once it dries it gets foggy again. I do NOT want to use windex or cleaners as that could potentially harm the fish. Please help! I am setting up my aquarium (havent done it for years) and before I get the fish, I need everything to be clean! PLEASE HELP!!!?!?!?!?!??!?!? Thanks
1 AnswerFish8 years ago...Cloudy Fish Tank!!??!!...?
Okay so I have a 10 gallon tank that was previously used as my fish tank a few years ago. It has beeen sitting in the garage, and I just got it out a few days ago. Last night I washed all of the fish rocks/pebbles and rinsed the plants thoroughly (with not soap on anything). Last night I also added an inch of tap water (well water) just to see how it would do and it is cloudy! I let it sit overnight and it is still cloudy this morning! I dont have any fish in there, no filter since there is only an inch of water. It is just standing water on the rocks (the plants are also in there, but they are fake and I rinsed them). Please help!!! This morning I also took out all of the plants and changed the inch of water. So far it is still cloudy! PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you.
P.S. (8 hours later)
The tank water is still cloudy. I took a small, clear cup and took some of the (cloudy) water from the tank, and when I looked at it in the cup it looked fine! ? Im not sure what is going on?! I also took some tap water into a clear cup and it did not look cloudy at all either...I added some 2 year old water conditioner (has been opened) and we will see if it works or not. Any suggestions!??!?!?!

8 AnswersHorses8 years ago....Shelving Options for Breyer Horses?...?
My breyer model horse collection is getting bigger and bigger by the week, and I am running out of space on my small bookshelf for all of them! I am thinking about building/making some shelves off the wall in the back corner of my room, and I am wondering some dimesions for the shelves? What is the tallest breyer model, as I want to be sure I have enough room for rearing and tall draft breyers ( I am going mainly from the traditional 1:9 scale). How far out from the wall should the shelf be? The horses will be facing you if you are standing in front of the sheves, so the length of the horse would be what would matter there. Please help! I need answers asap! thanks

have some valuble breyer model horses that are very special to me. They are all shelved in my room. Right now they all have blankets on to protect them from the pesky flies and from little specks of brown fly droppings that I dont want all over my breyer models. Well, I want them to be on display without the extra coverage so I can see their true beauty, but I dont want the flies to ruin the paint and make dots everywhere!? I have guinea pigs in my room and the cage is clean, but the flies wont leave! I also have fly tape up. I just dont know what to do. :( How do I protect my models without the fly problem? OR, how do I get rid of the flies quickly and fastly?

3 AnswersHorses8 years ago....Fleece or No Fleece boots!?
I am working my Haflinger Mare in jumping this spring, and I am considering getting some open-front boots for only her front legs. We are doing small jumping over crossrails (no more than 3 - 3 1/2 feet). Should I get fleece lined open fronts or ones without fleece? Please help! I need to know fairly quickly so I can go and try them out before show day! =) Fleece or no fleece? Advantages and dis-advantages? Please help! Thanks
5 AnswersHorses8 years agoWhat Horse boots to use for Jumping!?
I am working my Haflinger mare in Jumping this spring. Will we be starting in small crossrails and working up to higher measures. I was wondering what type of horse boots I should use on her front legs when jumping? I was thinking splint boots. I am aware of open-front jumping boots but they are so expensive! Will splint boots work for her front legs? And do I need bell boots as well? We are only doing small amounts of jumping on crossrails if that makes a difference. Pleaes help!
1 AnswerHorse Racing8 years agoHELP!..... Do I have Bronchitis!?
have a had a bad cough for over a week, and then it started to go away. Over the past few days it has got very much worse and I cough randomly for atleast 10 seconds. Sometimes, when I finish a cough I gag and sometimes feel like throwing up. I have not had a fever as far as I know and I have tried cough drops and over-the counter pharmacy cough medicine put it does not seem to have any effect. Where I live right now it is winter and the temperatures usually range between 10-25 degrees farhenheight. Are these symptoms of bronchitis or is it just a cold? I am miserable and I do not want it to lead to something worse. I have not been to the doctor yet, as I wanted your opinion first. Any nurses out there? Please help! Thanks
P.S. - My cough is a wet, mucusy cough, NOT a dry cough. I have not thrown up yet, but again, I gag when I cough and somtimes spit up a bit (I know, its gross) and also, my mucus is slightly yellowish.

8 AnswersHorses9 years agoWhich is better for the beginner rider?
I am buying/leasing a horse soon and i am buying a saddle also. I am a beginner/intermediate rider and I am looking for a good saddle that will last me as long as possible. Right now it is between two saddles. A synthentic black youth saddle, or a brown leather saddle. Which would give a beginner rider more comfort and which do YOU think i would do better with? (I am not looking to show with either of these saddles) Here are the saddles....
7 AnswersHorses9 years ago...Is this saddle good quality?...?
http://www.bigdweb.com/ALL-PURPOSE-SADDLE/producti...
I found this saddle at big dees and it was the saddle i was going to buy,but what im worried about is, the "tread" in the saddle. Compared to the other saddle (link at bottom of page) it looks like i may slip in the saddle alot. Since im a beginner rider and just got into english riding this summer, i want something safe, durable, and something i can use for a while. The youth saddle (at the bottom of page) it looks like it has more tread and maybe i wont slip as much. But am i wrong? If the two saddles are the same quality i would probably go for the black youth saddle over the brown one. But, some people say Equiroyal saddles are bad and dont last. If thats true i will most likely get the brown saddle. I guess my question is, Which saddle do you think would suit the beginner rider better? And, is it just my opinion that the brown saddle doesnt have as much tread? Or does it have just as much as the other and doesnt show? Please help!
