Our neighbor has 15+ cats that she loves dearly. They are indoor/outdoor. Quite a few of the cats have come up missing or found dead. Many of the neighbors have complained that they are toileting in their yards and they are angry, including us. She hates my family and accused my husband of throwing hamburger with decon in her yard. She has two video cameras aimed at our house to catch us harming her cats. She had no video proof and claims that the cameras don't work. My husband was taken to court by the city and the judge ruled that a $4,000 fine was in order but would not be enforced if no harm comes to her cats again. For any and all injuries to a cat after the court date a $100.00 fine would be enforced or jail time if we don't pay. He made it very clear that he means ANY kind of harm, for example if one is run over or runs away then we pay the fine or do time. The animal control officer was taken off the case and was not allowed to testify in court. She told the police and us that she knows we didn't do anything wrong. She came to our house at least a dozen times and did some thorough investigations about these allegations. We live in a very small town and we are going to appeal this in a larger city. What are the chances that we can win? I don't see how we or anyone else can insure the safety of all of her cats for the next four years. She can get as many more cats as she wants and we are supposed to be responsible for their well being as well. By the way, we have a cat of our own and he is alive and well. None of the other neighbors have had any of their cats harmed either and they have only nice things to say about us, and they say the woman is crazy, none of which was allowed in court. There may well have been some foul play with her cats but it was not us. Your opinion would be much appreciated. Thank you.

He has been complaining of an upset stomach for a few weeks. For the last couple of days his throat has been hurting him. What really scares me is that he had a bowel movement and there was white foamy looking stuff in it. Of course I didn't see but he said the white dot looking stuff floated to the top of the toilet water like oil in water. The poor boy has no health insurance. Does anyone have any idea on what it could be?

I know a married couple that had two little girls. They seemed to love them but just gave them up for adoption to a distant uncle who lives several states away. The parents have since divorced but not over this. How can a mother just throw her kids away and pretend like they never existed? The parents never go visit the children and have no interest in them at all.

It was very late last night and I was up watching music videos and hubby fell asleep on the couch. He woke up, went to the bathroom, and went to bed. He left the door open and I was sitting in the living room close to our room. Over the loud music I was listening to I heard a loud noise. I asked him what happened and he said something went flying past his head, hit the wall, and slid down to the floor. No bouncing at all. It even made a whistling noise as it went flying across the room and missed his head by a couple of inches. He said it sounded like a small piece of metal, like a key. I told him I didn't move from the chair I was in. It scared me to death! We can't look for the object because we have a water bed and can't fit our hand between the bed and the wall. Now it's getting close to bedtime and I'm afraid to go to bed. Any idea what could have happened?

I seen her with the fry hanging out of here and the males were chasing her so I moved her. I put her in a big,clean bowl with her own clean tank water and she gave birth about 15 min. later. The first 2 out of 5 fry wiggled for about 5 seconds and then sunk. I put her in a dark, quiet spot and looked again an hour later. All the fry were dead. What could have happened and what can I do differently next time?

I have nine guppy's, four females, five male, and the last time one of them had fry was on Halloween night. They must have eaten all of the fry because they disappeared. I have not seen any fry since and the females look pregnant all the time. I am watching and looking everyday and my plan is to use a net to put the fry in a tank all by themselves until they grow large enough to not be an entree. What do you think the problem is?

My son's girlfriend showed me a pretty necklace her mother bought her from eBay. It was a moon with a face in it and it was made out of ivory. She was so proud of it, but I didn't like it. I didn't even know you could buy ivory from eBay. Her mother is so good about recycling, caring for animals, the environment, etc. Her family are vegetarians because they feel it's not right to eat meat. They would never wear fur either. How much sense does it make then to go out and support the ivory trade?

We had a white Christmas so Junior went out playing in the snow. When he came in his shoes were wet. I dried them as fast as I could, but now they have that funky wet shoe smell. He wore his school shoes which have the blinking lights on the side. If I wash them I will probably break the lights. They smell horrible! Any hope for them?

A nice older lady from church gave my little boy a tin filled with treats. One treat was a package filled with two round things, I guess you would call them cookies. They were about as wide as a half dollar and about an inch tall. No markings on the packs to help me identify them. They had many chopped walnuts in them, and covered in powered sugar. Very sweet. If you ate too many you would get that sick feeling like eating too much fudge. They are sooo good, but my son didn't like them. Any clue what they are, where to buy them, and price? I am so hurt by my husbands of 19 years. Once again he hasn't bought me a Christmas gift. My birthday was in October and I got nothing, so he promised to buy me a gift for Christmas. I know that he hasn't because I asked and he said no. My gifts for him are under the tree. I don't have to have something that costs a lot of money, just some thought and care from his heart. Over the years he has bought me maybe 12 greeting cards for various holidays, and I cherish them. He knows this. A card from the dollar store is .50 cents. He could throw in a gift for a dollar. That would make me so happy. I know he had the money, but he chose to prioritize repairing his stupid car first. I have told him how much this hurts me and he just hangs his head and says "I'll get you something, don't worry". I don't believe him, or if by some miracle he does, then it will be a forced gift. Am I being unreasonable? How can I resolve this? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful baby than Shiloh. She is going to be so beautiful when she is a teen. What do you think and why?

I love playing with glitter and bought some cheap Christmas cards and have tried using glitter glue as embellishment. The cards came out terrible. I tried squirting the glue straight out of the tube and it came out too thick and the constant squeezing hurt my hand. I tried spreading it on thin using a clean make up applicator. That looked even worse and the card dried wrinkled like wet paper. Regular elmers glue and dry glitter goes on too thick for what I want. Old Christmas cards from around the 70's, or earlier, used to have a light, thin, coating of silver glitter that looked beautiful. The glitter was very fine, and you could see the card detail under it. How can I get the same effect? I would love to hear any advice on this. Thank you so much.

If you are a visiting for the holidays with family members or close friends and they put you up in the guest room or one of their kids room would think it would be in poor taste to have intimate relations? You are in someone elses house and bed. When you leave they will have to wash your sheets and blankets. They might even hear you. Do you see anything wrong with this?

Have you ever been so mad at your bf/spouse that you felt justified in hitting him? Just curious if anyone out there would ever hit their bf/husband. Don't think mine could ever make me mad enough to slug him.

I am tired of hearing these stupid commercials! I can avoid my eyes, but not my ears. I guess I could turn my volumne off, but I wish I didn't have to. Does anyone else get annoyed by these? Think yahoo is going to do this more and more?

My neighbor has 12+ cats that run amuk in peoples yards, doing their business, destroying plants, they even stole my husbands wild birds that he just shot and left on the front porch while he prepared to clean them. This has been going on for over a year. So another neighbor called the city about 20 times and complained for them to do something. My husband called twice. Talking to this cat lady brought about many loud fights. So my neighbor, husband, cat lady got summoned to mediation court. I went because I live in the house too and wanted to support my husband. Cat lady brought a mutual friend for support. Mutual friend was someone that I was growing to really like, we go to church together, Bible study, etc. At mediation mutual friend yells at me, glares at me, and now will not even look at me. I have not attended any functions that I think I may see her at because now she hates me for picking on Cat Lady. I did nothing. I did not call the city, my husband did.

As a kid my grandparents took me to a United Pentecostal Church. They taught that women were not allowed to wear pants, makeup, cut their hair, wear jewelry, wear short sleeves etc. because it was a sin. I questioned my Sunday School teacher and she explained that pants were for men. To dress in them would be taking on the persona of a man. I guess it would be like crossdressing. What about people in other countries and cultures? There are men that wear skirts. What if a woman wanted to be a fireman? She could not possibly work in a long skirt. So would this be wrong? I know putting out fires is not a sin so what could she do to please the church? I don't know of any females that buy their pants in the men's dept. they do make jeans for women so how can this be considered wearing men's clothing? This has always bugged me because that church feels so strongly about this and judge others on clothes and makeup. I believe God looks at your heart, not your hair or clothes.

My sister married a dark complected hairy man and has a beautiful little 5 year old girl with him. She loves to dress her up and put cute little dresses and short lacy socks on her. That poor little thing has the longest, darkest hair I have ever seen on a child. She has more hair on her legs than my husband! My sister was helping her dress one day and said to her, "boy you do have hairy legs don't you" and just dropped the subject. Since she bought it up I asked her if she thinks she should consider shaving them. Sis was horrified that I would even think such a thing since her daughter is so young. Dressing her in tights in not an option. Neither is wearing pants all the time. My sister doesn't feel like something as petty as hairy legs is a reason to dress her daughter differently than all her little girl cousins. I feel the same, she should not have to put the little frilly dresses aside, but her legs are truly noticalbe. Is shaving them or using a hair remover wrong?
