Hi there, thanks for hopefully, taking your time to read this. I've looked around the web for answers, I just need more 'recent' answers.

I've stopped over at Dubai International Airport before but I was 12 and it was about 3-4 hours. So, I just followed my parents around and everything is a little hazy. Now, I'm travelling alone and need a bit of info from those who stopped-over in Dubai. Travelling with EMIRATES*** so will be arriving and departing again from T3. Also, not looking to go out of the airport, I just want to relax then walk around a bit.

I've heard about these snooze boxes that are available from Terminal 1 that you can pay about $20 an hour - are they any good and is the walk from T3 -> T1 as bad as I remember (:P)? I'd probably stay for about 4 hours.

Personally, I've never taken a shower in an airport before, but 9 hours is far too long (with a 7 hour flight before that) to not get refreshed.

Are the showers good and where they are? I wouldn't mind paying extra for a gym with showers in them with complete grooming kit and shampoo etc.

Lastly, as I am young, dumb and a drunk (haha), is alcohol consumption in the airport allowed?

-I'm in the UK so the Royal Mail is the predominant mail service.

-Prepaid envelopes must be taken to the embassy for them to send my new passport back.

1] Where do I get pre-paid envelopes that are for 500g and below?

2] What is the best size for passport sending?

3] Is it as simple as buying 1st class postage stamps for 500g and below letters then sticking them to an envelop?

I know I have some dumb questions but I just want to make sure since it is my passport. If you anymore tips please do tell me about them!

Scenario:

I have paid and applied for Uni this coming September. Also I have accepted places from my insurance and main choice of universities. However I was considered as an international student due to my visa in the UK. Now I am not eligible for any financing support from Student Finance England. I don't have that vast amount of money to pay for my studies and tried alternatives to no avail.

**If I withdraw my application now, will I be able to go back to studying *A-Level equivalent courses - NVQ L3* in colleges this year? I will apply for myself and also I want to spend the year to at least get extra qualifications/work place and hopefully find a way to fund my studies on September 2015.

**Shall I tell my referee that I am withdrawing my application or is it all on me?
