  • Should I buy a car?

    I m 18 and I did get my permit when I was 16, however I never practiced much at all so I never took the driving test to get my license. My permit recently expired and I m going to get it renewed next week. The reason I didn t drive much before was because I have really bad anxiety and I panic behind the wheel. And on top of that I didn t feel very comfortable in my parents car... so i was thinking maybe this time around I should buy my own car (a used one most likely) so that I can learn in that and it will kinda of me a motivation to take the practice and take the test. I m thinking because of my anxiety being in my own car bring help me be more comfortable also. Has anyone bought a car before they got their license? Do any of you have anxiety when driving? How do you cope with it? What do you think I should do?

    1. A rectangular box has a perimeter of 50 inches. Find the length and width of the box that would give the maximum area.

    l = 25, w = 25

    l = 12.5, w = 37.5

    l = 12.5, w = 12.5

    l = 12.5, w= 156.25

    2. A rectangular box has a perimeter of 50 inches. Find the maximum possible area of the box.

    A. 156.25 in2

    B. 468.75 in2

    C. 625 in2

    D. 1953.13 in2

  • Math Help Please? I'm really confused...?

    Find two different sets of parametric equations for the given rectangular equation. (There are many correct answers.)

    2. x + y^(2) = 4

    3. x^(2) + 4y^(2) - 16 = 0
